Game was rushed but still much better than later Ubisoft slop. Entire PoP trilogy is gold.

Yeah, it sucked, Ubisoft has long had a problem of chasing trends too hard sometimes, it's just in 2004 that meant gore, nu metal and naked butts than Wokeness and BLM.

Aside from the gritty edge lord look, the combat and level design were top notch and a great improvement over Sand of Time. IMO Two Thrones was a step back.

Except it wasn't (save for the butt), it was stupid, because Sands of Time had that 1001 nights vibe that felt much more true to the spirit of the series, WW felt like it trying to be something it's not.

I remember Warrior Within being my favourite, though the last time I played it must've been like 15 years ago. Fantastic trilogy. I do not expect anything from the Sands of Time remake, sadly.

I remember having fond memories of this entry when I was younger, but my recent replay of SoT tetralogy reminded me I forgot how tedious and repetitive WW was in its second half. Sands of Times was and still is my favorite

Man thanks for reminding me of 2004, I loved Warrior Within, but I was also a teen and feeling edgy. This, HL2, Fable and Republic Commando and NFSU2 were my main games lol

It's been 20 years so I don't know how I would feel about it if I played all 3 again, but back then, Warrior Within was my favorite in the trilogy.
I did play sand of time again later on ps3 with the hd release, and I didn't enjoy it as much as when I was younger, I found the combats too repetitive.

My favorite Prince of Persia though is the 2008 version. This game got a lot of unfair criticism back then, but it was a really nice game with a great atmosphere. The whole DLC episode / ending stuff sucked though.
