I think the main reason Nintendo won't be showing the E3 trailer is because they have a new one to show off, and perhaps that's going to be shown sometime in the near future? Maybe even at GDC? That would be cool.

um exactly, why would they show a 1 year old trailer when you can show a brand new one. Some people jumped to conclusions.

As for Nintendo showing a new Zelda trailer at GDC, I think we can forget that. Nintendo always saves their best for E3 :/

People are tired of his speculation being used as gospel. It would be one thing if real news was being posted, but we mostly get Matt's assumptions and thoughts on how he would run Nintendo if he was in charge.

The man is a moron. He spends the majority of his time preaching from the IGN pulpit about what Nintendo should do and how Nintendo should be run, and then the rest spreading little 'leaks' of information which could be the most miniscule thing on the planet just so he can see the IGN forums (and then other forums as a result) go mad with speculation.

Matt on the other hand honestly thinks he's some type of authority on gaming news simply because he was involved with a site that didn't happen to go under like all the rest. And as proven time and time again, his actual 'insider knowledge' often times turns out to be either trivial bullshit or completely wrong.
