Have you ever changed a personal gaming-related opinion after discussing/arguing in a thread?

A lot of the times yeah. I'm dumb, not as educated on gaming as quite a few experts people here, so when someone actually corrects me on something i'm willing to take it. Not like it's gonna kill me to do so anyways

besides, i hate people who can't accept when they're wrong so i try not to be like them.

I always see a lot of hate for Horizon all over the place, but honestly the first game is really good. Was probably one of my favourite games on the PS4. Wasn't a huge fan of the sequel however but it wasn't a bad game by any stretch.

I platinumed the first game. Did the dlc and I was just done with the franchise by the end of it. I liked one section of the first game a lot but I tried starting thw second and I just couldn't bare it.

It's an OK to average game that Sony keeps trying to push. I just wish they had something else that was eating up budget that I enjoyed.

Just not for me and I lost my shit with it being in astro bot. It was embarassing tbh so I took the L and moved on. Thought it fit well in this thread.

so who did make the first rumble?
It can be argued with cabinets etc, but the thread was something about N64 innovations. The guy showed Sony had both introduced commercially and patented rumble controllers on psx prior to their dual shock and before lylat wars.

Yes but it's usually a combination of me having to ruminate on some doubt I'm developing, then some good arguments.

Less common, but still happens, is that I get a wholesale idea from reading something here. An example: I though that GI was the best raytracing effect. But there was someone here who was strongly arguing that it was reflections. They were getting laughed at, but after reading like 3-4 back and forths, I agreed with this idea that wasn't in my head at all. It was a really strong argument for an unpopular idea and I guess had never spent much time thinking about it.
