Kind of mind boggling that Microsoft never pursued the ODST IP. The love for it is immense and it only ever had one game. Imagine if Infinite had been a fully fledged ODST sequel.

I don't think it's impossible at all, but nonetheless, I think this is more about making the game appealing to Xbox players who get access to it for the first time on the same day as this ODST collection launches.
Edit: but it could be dual purpose too. Introducing different things to different players.

So THAT is why Helldivers 2 is now on Xbox. i was wondering what Sony traded that with. So Halo crossover warbonds was the trade. Fair enough.

I was reading that they recently removed the FOMO aspct to the super credit store. Now everything is always available. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

A-9 Hell Jumper armor looks cool visually. The armor passive has potential. The weapons, im not counting on those being good although at the very least I like the "sound" when firing so i'll use that for a little bit til I get tired of it(assuming they are bad). Patterns are meh, they don't look cool to me.

It is actually not a bad thing if they want to start with a completely fresh slate at this juncture, even holding back MCC. CE remake is probably the best idea possible.
PS gamers new to the series don't need the bad CE remake, dated Halo 3 graphics and such. If they really want to move the IP forward they need a reset.

And probably an actual halo title launching in a few months. I wonder if this means ODST will be the first halo to arrive.20 years ago if you said Halo is going collab to a Sony first-party game, everybody in school would laugh at you in lunch.
back in mine high school day is the classic PS2 vs Xbox war going on everyday
