Help Me Register for E3

First off, if tickets are already sold out, just kindly let me know from the get go.

Regardless. I write video game news and reviews/previews for my college newspaper, so I should be able to get in for free, right?

If that's the case, can someone tell me the steps to take on the E3 website to sign up? And also, what I would need to bring to the show to prove I'm me/etc.

Thanks.

There was a big thread on this before.

I went last year, "policy changes" this year (no, im NOT in retail!) and they are giving me a huge pain in the ass this year getting approved. bags!

Yeah, they're really strict this year, as they should be. I've been going every year since '98 in either a press or development capacity, and I was rejected when I applied this year. I resubmitted with a "WTF" cover letter and got accepted, and granted I should probably have waited until my company registered for me, but yeah, they're being especially strict this year.
