Usually I don't care too much about these threads, but under the conditions the thread creator is still going after this chick I need to have an update in a couple weeks! :lol Usually after one or two warning signs you start to rethink things. This guy has like five and says fuck it to them all and is going for it. This is probably going to ruin your job situation forever but good luck!

ok, ok, ignoring all the advice aside, at least do this if you insist on asking her out:

Ask her dad FIRST if it is ok to date his daughter.

No one does that anymore, but it would give you about +10 in the dad's opinion of you regardless of previous talks.

And if he says yes, you got him on your side already to take on ex bf, but if he says no, then it saves you a whole buttload of trouble in the first place.

Just wanted to give an update to all the naysayers:

We had snack/lunch this afternoon, and it went very well. She was walking past my office, on her way to lunch, when I asked to join her. Glad I did, and we had a very good discussion going. We might go see Batman Returns together, since we talked about it.

EDIT: I have a digi-cam so I'll be able to post pics soon as I take some pictures with her.

Batman Returns looks awesome, but I think I'm either going to go see Lethal Weapon 3 or Sister Act with my girlfriend this weekend. I know they've been out for a bit, but - c'mon! - they look pretty good. I mean, it beats seeing Patriot Games (god that moving looks boring).

Her father and I are cool, almost too cool. You see we used to talk about the Coors girls during football season, and I used to explain to him what I'd do if I had the weekend with them and stuff. He asked me have every tryed any of this Porno stuff on my Girl friend, if I had one. I told him the truth, No she's to shy for this shit but I'm working into trying it out. Give me a week. Well now she has to sneak over to my place..
