I love when the haters trot out cosplay and low budget takes on classic costumes as some sort of idiotic defense. The classic costume will work if you spend the money on it.

NO! It can't be possible to light a figure like Richard Donner did back in 1975 - it's impossible!

The costume in Donners movies looks stupid as hell. Other than maybe David Lee Roth, nobody ever looked cool in spandex. It just doesn't work outside of comics and makes no sense either. Why the hell would guys like Superman and Batman wear spandex of all materials, especially for what is essentially battle armor?

With Batman you could make an argument against spandex, for practical reasons. But it really doesn't matter what Superman wears. Battle armor would be just as useful as his birthday suit. He wears the spandex because it's easy to conceal under his street clothes, and Superman's on-call 24/7. He doesn't always have time to fly home to put his costume on.

I havent been following any leaks, but doesnt that stunt man kinda look like Metamorpho, or The parasite after absorbing metamorphos powers(yes i watched the cartoon sue me!)

But the Thor suit still looked awful in the final movie as well. (I still loved the movie, though.)

Nothing's ever going to look as stunning as Chris Evans' Cap suit anyway. That was just flawless.

SR was good for the 20 odd minutes they got things right. I do remember someone saying that Rouths crotch was toned down in post however.

Maybe that was just Rouths saying that.

The guy in the motion capture suit is clearly (going to be) some kind of giant/monster judging by the giant stick protruding out of the top of his head with the 'eye level' for the actors.

I wonder if it's going to be some Superman villain or an alien henchman?

And the crotch bulge acts as the 'eye level' for the monster's actor.
