A new low in this weird new QM MM.

Varian/Samuro/Murky/Azmo/Hammer vs Garrosh/Illidan/Raynor/Zul'jin/Chromie...on Battlefield of Eternity.

Like at least if you're gonna make these 3 specialist comps, put it on a 3 lane map. It was murder. There were only 2 people grouped on each team...not really sure why 1 specialist and 1 assassin weren't on opposite teams.

You know, taste for blood isn't that bad after all. It's like a late game insurance that you can turn around a shitty game. I just finished a game on Dragon Shire with 350+ stacks and I was having some of the dankest dunks I've ever had. Blowing up Valeera has never been so fun.

See? These 3 specialist vs 0 comps are pretty common. It's so weird. I played one of them on ToD, it was such a stomp.

Got another one. Stomped again. Shit is almost as bad as when Tass/Tyrande counted as full heals and would face Morales or whatever. You just can't do anything but stall all game and hope eventually the pressure compounds...but you also can't leave your base so you can't pressure.

pretty happy to see fnatic bust out sonya/lucio, it's a ridiculous combo
all dive comp but w/ lucio to help mitigate slow on w talent on etc

After reading about his struggles and watching his stream a bit, it just solidifies my desire for voice comms in-game. He and many others are missing the coordination that it brings. Yeah people can be toxic, but just like text chat we can just mute the offender.

lack of Voice Comms is the reason I barely play right now outside of the 10 TL games.

I was hardcore against voice comms in the early post release days. I haven't exactly seen great things from it in OW either, but I think it might be a good thing despite that. Mainly because I remember and dwell on the games when people were toxic, but they aren't really any more frequent than the games where my team are very enthusiastic or encouraging.

The vast, vast majority of my games are just dead silence other than maybe a "gj" or "nice" and some "glhf" at the start and "gg" at the end. If we had comms and even just two or three of us were in there we could probably get much more out of those games. It might also be a way to see communities form and expand...when you add a voice to a name it's a different level of interaction. Along with adding a voice to a name, you can actually have a conversation in down time during voice comms which makes the game more enjoyable...outside of the toxic folks, of course.

EDIT: Whew, Dig pulled it out to stay alive.

Pre 2.0 stuff that got delayed probably. Blizzcon is in a few months, I wonder if they're waiting for that for another big update. They said they have other 2.0-like updates coming or something like that.

Voice chat would be a big deal at Blizzcon alongside whatever else is released. I'm still hoping they'll do clans/guilds when it drops but that seems unlikely I suppose.

I've dabbled in DOTA2 recently and it's given me the impression that voice would absolutely not improve toxicity. I'd rather throw games until I die than hear grognards yelling in my ear again.

I did my time on XBL back in the Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 days. Never again.

Hey guys, which are the best supports to play right now? I'm just starting out but I've played Dota 2 for years and I almost always played supports in that game.

I'm a believer in the "keep your idiots alive" strategy.

Uther, Rehgar, Stukov, Lucio, Malfurion are all good right now.

I noticed that not only is there a Kel'Thuzad announcer on the PTR, but they also added a Jaina announcer. So we can probably expect some more announcers for older heroes eventually.

Also, emojis for the new skins for Jaina, Sonya, and Zagara, which is a first.

This was special because they got jaina's VA in for the cartoon and the skin and maybe some other Blizzard game stuff. Making an announce on top of that must have been easy scheduling.
