Hideo Kojima's next project: what do you want him to do next?

He stated in an interview with EGM after MGS 3's release that he will be working on something new for a new console, what do you think that is? Or rather, what do you want him to direct next?

I'd like another Snatcher, seeing the full potential of that game on next-generation hardware would be so amazing and also, I love the cyber-punk genre, a game genre which has been lacking lately and he seems to love it too. Or perhaps something sci-fi, he did say that after MGS 3 he'd love to direct something sci-fi.

Now, I'm a huge MGS fan (as you can tell from my posts :D) but I'd still love for him to do something new next, KCEJ are a very talented bunch, I don't think they'd kill the Metal Gear franchise :P
 
I don't care what Kojima does, he certainly has the talent to do something creative that sells decently. Just tone down the cinemas a bit and I'd be perfectly happy. I would prefer that he doesn't work on the MGS franchise anytime soon however. Not that I wouldn't want a new game but taking a 2 - 3 year break so they could work on original content would be great.

You should ignore all your fears about the MGS franchise going away.

Maybe a MOVIE? is it too much to ask for? I for one think he has shown himself to be a great director. And i think he has a flow that is up there with the highest payed hollywood directors.

If not that then fuck just give me another MGS game.
 
Not MGS, please. For some years at least.

I would love something as Snatcher or Policenaut, but as a real adventure and not as text based. Futuristic, cyberpunk, all that things.

Well, the news was suddenly in several Playstation journals across Europe, so it's pretty reliable. It's in a different genre than the PS2 ZOEs, might be something comparable to the GBA ones?

Oh I see, I hope it isn't like the GBA version, that sucked :| but a new ZOE is a new ZOE, bring it on I say

Boktai DS was already announced, but I've yet to see mention of ZOE PSP anywhere? Can you source me?

If it's a new console game though, I think a new ZOE might be good for Xenon launch next year. For handhelds, KCEJW should just focus on porting their back catalogue. Snatcher DS, Policenauts PSP and Metal Gear 1+2 GBA would be the ones I'd like to see most, since they're all fairly Rare or unavaible in english.

I can't prove it to you right now as I don't own the magazines to scan, but it was clearly in a german and a french magazine in an airport international newspaper trade. The german one claimed it beeing confirmed by the team itself during a meet. Just wait and see, it'll happen. I don't think this is something surprising, even more with a different genre (see MGA).
 
ZOE3, please. And make sure the ZOE psp game is good while you're at it- that might sell me on a psp all by itself.
