Thought this was directed by Peele but turns out he's just producing which is nice as personally i think his stuff has been getting progressively worse.

Anyway looks interesting enough.

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm not that big a fan of Peele when it comes to his movies and I know he just produced this but this looks way more interesting than the movies he made

I wonder if this will try to tackle (heh heh) too many issues (pressure to perform, TBI from collisions, PEDs in sports, etc) to deliver a consistent experience, versus just going for shocking visuals and a surreal atmosphere.

Thought this was gonna be a sequel to the movie Her

Maybe, but I think there's a bit too much info in the trailer not sure I have to see it now. Looks like a typical millennial topical/trauma horror-lite.

Getting Midsomer vibes, maybe it's the photography. It looks interesting in that it looks different from the general slop that falls out of the protruded colon cavity that is hollywood.
I'll check it out through Streaming.

What is this shit, thought it was going to be a documentary about one of rock's greatest bands.

Trailer started good but went too crazy in the end, not sure about this one but i liked the coach in the scary movies :lollipop_grinning_sweat:

I saw a different trailer for this at the weekend and thought it looked great. Surprised to see near universal apathy here.

Looks great! I had no idea what this was about but I'm certainly interested.

The poster REALLY threw me off. The title "HIM" and in that stance of fallopian tubes and ovaries covered in blood had me thinking this would be something completely different. Very weird poster.

Dirk -- you of all people -- that is no way to talk about Hollywood, now.

PSA: looks like this stinks. Sat at 30% and getting panned.

Pity that it's not being well received. I still might go and see it if I get the chance but there's a few other things I want to watch at the moment and those reviews don't help its chances.

"Produced by Jordan Peele" is quickly becoming a harbinger of bad-to-mediocre horror movies. Maybe that's why he was so pissed about losing the bidding war for Weapons - he could have finally had a great horror movie attached to his producer credit

I watched Get Out by Peele, didn't think it was very good.

I watched the trailer for this. didn't think it was very good. Though to be fair I have zero interest in the subject matter so it's a hard sell. Probably even more now the review scores are so low.

I heard so many good things about this movie. I watched it last night and it's the dumbest shit I've ever seen

Looked like it had potential at first, but multiple trailers have focused on the same sorts of moments--those xtreme training sessions with Marlon Wayans. Probably not enough to carry the premise.

Yeah quite fancied it at first glance.

Still can't complain been a decent year for horror and Keeper looks promising in November so not all bad.

Can't win 'em all.
