Dude, the 2 messages so far basically mean 'tone it down'. When a mod says it, it's scary. When an admin says it, you better be super cautious. I've never seen such a serious post from EviLore

Generally if a person leaves an organization, even if it is a non-profit like GAF, they send a goodbye message or email. When there isn't one of those, usually you can assume that a few possible scenarios have played out, all of which led to the person deciding not to speak out in public.
Even in most of those cases, upper management (or the guy who accepted the resignation) usually sends out a 2-line message saying "bla bla awesomedude was awesome, we wish him the best for his future" or "bla bla awesomedude is no longer with the company". This is the to prevent speculation like is currently going on in this thread. Sometimes there is no message because the person left for a competitor company.
Most likely, when people leave on a not-so-good note, they either totally blow up the issue with hyperbole and a rant, OR they just leave quietly with class. Plus it's an online forum, so it may not be a big deal.

Incorrect. There in fact were multiple contexts including some (though naturally not all) of the ways people were using it in EviLore's topic that I would not have banned for when moderation was more stringent and I did not ban for when I saw them, however rarely that was.
Here is my conspiracy theory: EviLore prefers all the questions go in this thread rather than popping up in other unrelated threads.
One was if cunt was in the title of a book or film, and maybe we were we able to refer to our vaginas as "cunts"? And realistically, neither of those contexts were ever going to be used, as there can't be many books with "cunt" in the title (yes, there are a very few) and no one on god's green earth refers to their vagina as "cunt"

It's basic human nature to speculate on things in the absence of information, especially given that there are community leaders involved here.
That doesn't mean the information should be provided, but I am sort of confused that the leaders seem angry that people are speculating. It's going to happen; no way around it. 10 pages of posts in this thread prove it.

Amigos, EviLore has made it really really clear over the years that he really doesn't like it when people pubicly question official neogaf policies.

Not hating on anyone. These are merely scientifically conducted Vegas odds. EatChildren is one of the newest mods, and Y2Kev is what I consider a "Sports-GAF mod" who have a history of shorter mod lifes.
