If the Blood-God demands the sacrifice of Eatchildren then I'm asking my fellow gaffers to rebel against that demonic being.

But what if the Blood-God at the same time promotes a worthier Den....gaffer, then I think that would be alright.

Equivalent Exchange.

Well... interesting things going on around here as of late.

Maybe Sprsk is wanting to get back in the thick of things, or MikeWorks!

Don't worry, Dennis. I have many plans for you.

If I had to guess:

Mumei got modded, started implementing new policies with a particular agenda for skewing sex/gender discussions a certain way. Basically a far less horrible Dragona.

People started to complain, especially Footy-GAF when it started to specifically affect them even though they weren't even discussing sex/gender stuff, they were just using a particular word that has a completely different connotation in their part of the world.

Others pointed out how in sex/gender discussions, certain posters who agreed with Mumei tended to get away with being more hostile than those who disagreed.

Evilore heard these complaints, agreed, and confronted Mumei. Mumei stuck to his guns and either stepped down or was demodded.

Hitokage disagreed with Evilore and sided with Mumei, and depending on how strong the disagreement was, Hito either stepped down out of principle or was also demodded (or deadminned, or whatever).

Seems like a pretty obvious series of events to me.

Wait a minute, I'm confused, are we rebelling against the demonic Blood-God because he demands the sacrifice of Eatchildren, or are we rebelling against the demonic Eatchildren because the Blood-God demands it?

That's for you do to decide. Choose wisely.

Aha you thought it was Mumei 100% when it was really another who was pulling the strings all along.

That's my fanfic and I'm sticking to it.

I think it's time for a hard right turn. Mod everybody who admitted to being conservative in the that conservative gaf thread. Unban and mod Kosmo. Capitalize on the Romney surge.

Considering how most if-not-all mod actions are essentially behind the scenes, and none of this stuff has really been public it's kind of pointless to speculate.

2+2=5

Hitokage always came across as very level headed. I don't think the mumei and language tweaks were a major change, more of a common sense adjustment of policy. Certainly nothing that would cause major internal wrangling like you suggest.

I know, 'this is neogaf' but the truth is probably disappointed mundane. Maybe he's too busy with life responsibilities, maybe evilore wants to more to more formal paid staff and that doesn't fit with what hitokage wants, maybe a thousand dull reasons before 'ooh conspiracy'

I'm pretty sure 2+2=4

I'm surprised this thread has lasted to three pages. I don't expect it to last before the end of the day.

Anyway, Mumei has said in the Football thread that it didn't have anything to do with the C word being allowed once more.

Bish probably decided that it was time to hunt the most dangerous game.

I got banned 3 weeks ago by Bishop for calling out the PC brigade ruining threads... Barely a week later, the PC brigade gets the boot and major policy changes are enacted. I guess the mods don't really talk to each other and Evilore just makes it up as he goes along.
