Why is the Leaf authentic jersey more expensive than all the others :/

A vintage Oiler Gretzky jersey does sound good though :D

Got a Gretzky vintage onlya few months ago...I don't know if I'd save that much anyways. It's 142 Cdn...I paid around $170

My friend is looking at a Scouts jersey...and I'm gonna pick up the North Stars, but these price online are crazy expensive! Well, the Player ones at least. Vintage Replica NS for only 54 Cdn...not bad.

Apparently if you head to a lot of sports stores jersey prices are really cheap too. Some places cheaper than nhl.com

I may have to go take a look today or tomorrow.

Well hockey jersey's actually have to keep you warm :p

My parents aren't too thrilled about me spending 200 bucks for a Lemieux jersey...I may just get the Oilers 3rd jersey but with no player name/number on it

Can't go wrong for 76 bucks :p

The only authentic jersey I currently own is a Mighty Ducks jersey :p

Like all true Jets fans, I would either need another Thomas "Grums" Steen's #25 or maybe Ducky's #10. Shit, a Zhamnov would be sweet too, but he was also #10 and while I love Archie even more than Teemu in a perfect world I'd have his Spartak jersey.

The Truest Jets Fan would have an Itchy Scratchy Tabaracci jersey. And a Luciano Borsato game-worn authentic. And probably a signed stick from Evgeny Davidov (most hilarious LW of ALL TIME).

A true jets fan would have hung himself long ago :(

Took us forever to find our way back to the interstate, too. NO REGRETS.

That said, I'd love to get a Iginla's red Canada jersey, or a throwback jersey for Wendel Clark. But there's no need to rush...it'll be two years before this lockout ends and the price goes back up, by which time the US dollar might be worth 80 cents Canadian. :lol

I don't disagree that Heatley and Kovalchuk are great, the actual Atlanta franchise itself was what I was refering to. IE. the naming rights and such.

When I was a kid, I thought Chevy trucks stood for Cheveldae, and he was the owner, sort of like Tim Horton.

I wasn't planning to order online anywa. There's a certain store downtown that has a bunch of throwback or retired name jerseys, including Sittler, Clark and Gilmour. But again, there's no rush for me.

And Leafs merch is likely the highest seller by miles, so why not price it accordingly? They do the same with the ACC tickets, and it's yet to stop the sheep from filling those coffers. If idiots are willing to pay the freight then gouge away I say. Same sort of attitude I have in regard to the owners and players...if owners wanna keep paying ridiculous coin, then the player should take it and run.

I think the whole jail thing is a front. They just want to make the judicial system seem legitimate and uniform (newsflash! it's not!). There's no way they're sending him to jail, considering the various circumstances.

Whenever I think of the Thrashers I wonder about Patrik Stefan. Is he bitter he never really got on track like he should have, or is he one of those guys who's happier to not be The Man? He's a decent NHLer and could still be a quality forward, but if it wasn't for Daigle he'd be the most disappointing #1 of the last decade or so for sure.

All the more reason to hate the Leafs.

Anyway, I'm truly missing hockey too. I've been kind of hoping that CBC would replace their Movie Night in Canada with like ... Hockey Night in Russia (yeah yeah, in Soviet Russia, hockey plays you). I think it'd be great to see all those NHL'ers in different roles on a couple of stacked teams.

You know, I have it on tape and I have the ESPN2 feed on my comp, yet I STILL managed to find time to watch the third period/OT again. :D

It was only on S-net West though. Ontario/Pacific/East all got the OHL/Russia Select game instead.

I'm really, REALLY starting to miss the NHL. Sigh. I almost never watch sports news anymore, which is why I never post really. Not watching highlights every night, rarely checking the sports websites... bleh. I need to take up smoking or something to fill the void.
