Per Gearbox's info on the game: 'In addition to conquering the game's campaign, players can challenge each other to intense 1v1, free-for-all or team battles, or tag team in an all-new co-op mode with a roguelike twist'

I'm really curious about that last bit. Co-op homeworld has always been a longstanding dream of mine (as in multiple users participating in one fleet). It would allow a friend to control bombers and carriers while I focus frigates and destroyers, etc. It may end up not being much, but still got me thinking.

Loved Homeworld. I didn't even know they were making this. Very cool. Now someone has to make a new Freespace and my sci-fi PC space sim nostalgia will be fullfilled.

Gosh I wish they could nail the controls and release for console.
Would be incredible on an oled.
