They're the former developers of Killer Instinct 2013."Quarter Up is a video game developer headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and a subsidiary of Skybound Games."
Ok now it makes sense
A dozen years later it is doubtful they have the same crop of talent. I do not think that Killer Instinct (2013) set the world on fire either. It has some interesting ideas with varying levels of execution but it lacks cohesion. I am playing it currently and my experience is very uneven. They're the former developers of Killer Instinct 2013.
The entire team or a couple people? This game looks terrible compared to Killer Instinct. They're the former developers of Killer Instinct 2013.
Kind of normal for a 3v3 versus game from what I can tell. Game still needs a lot of work and balancing. The hit stun in this is ridiculous

Maximillian (who had an early look at the game months before it's reveal) said that it was nearly the entire team. So maybe >90%.A dozen years later it is doubtful they have the same crop of talent. You can definitely hear the KI influence in the combo callouts. This obviously needs a lot more work so we'll see how it turns out. It's not out until next year.Maximillian (who had an early look at the game months before it's reveal) said that it was nearly the entire team. So maybe >90%.
The good news here is that they have until late next year to clean up the graphics more, since the game is rumored to be coming out winter 2026. I'm sure they will get a lot of feedback at EVO this weekend to help. You can definitely hear the KI influence in the combo callouts. I was spoiled by watching Max's Tokon gameplay earlier. That was awesome.
High Level gameplay:
Active tag combos and combo breakers confirmed, tag after supers confirmed, and the players' jump has a large vertical (like MvC 2 high).

I think there could be hope for an Image Comics crossover fighter with some of this cast being part of the mix.Definitely see the KI influence which is good. Need to polish up the graphics, maybe add more gore and wounds. The show is plenty bloody enough and graphic, there can be another gory fighter to go with MK.
Think they should have done Invincible crossed with something else. Not sure if that IP alone has enough pull. Even Invincible cross KI would have been sweet.
Would be wild to see Spawn or Michonne (Walking Dead) squaring off with this roster.I think there could be hope for an Image Comics crossover fighter with some of this cast being part of the mix.
What is Image Comics in the year of our lord? Does that mean Wildcats, Spawn, Gen13, The Maxx?I think there could be hope for an Image Comics crossover fighter with some of this cast being part of the mix.
The building break dynamically when the characters clash at round start (timestamped):The characters in this universe all suck lol, worst roster in fighting game history?
Does this game do anything with the backgrounds/levels at all as far as interactivity or transitions? The backgrounds are already pretty lifeless and might as well be static if that's the case.
