I plan to play Marathon also I have time for both. I'm complaining about signing up and not getting a chance to try the game I don't know if I'm dodging a massive bullet. I'm one of those weirdos who likes to try a game before I call it crap.

Yes, very excited. What they've shown looks to be fast and fun - possibly even more than the mainline games. Keeping an open mind till at least some hands on time with it instead of shitposting without knowing.

To be honest, Marathon has at least 50/50 chance, there is hope. But the ugly Horizon Gathering with that ugly characters and reeking twisted dei and woke, this will surely flop. DOA guaranteed to this Hermen's baby.

This game was greenlit by Shuhei Yoshida. And tone down the buzzwords on your posts.

All Live Service game reveals are "DOA" for the same 2 or 3 reasons.

- It's too purple.
- The characters aren't attractive enough.
- The market is saturated.

Has there ever been a Live Service game reveal that the "online mob" predicted to become a hit? That contingent has whiffed on every GAAS success story over the last 7 years. It started with "Fortnite is a fad".

At some point the words "I'm not sure" should enter the vocabulary.
