Horrifying MLB 17 Glitch(Trigger warning)

I find glitches like these amazing.

So I'm just laughing a ton here while everyone is freaked out.

I'm with ya. Laughing my ass off at honeycomb head.

Figured I'd leave this one here for all yall curious trypophobics

Ugh, I clicked on this yesterday and it's the worst example of Trypophobia I've seen since I was a teen and convinced by the terrible nipple/egg photoshop. Guess I'm gunna have fun when this pops up in my head for the weeks to come. Anybody else get a piercing ringing sensation in the back of their skull when they look at it?

So did I. This world is creating a bunch of week cry babies. God forbid something real happens we will all cower in the corner afraid of shapes and patterns.

Alot of us can't help but shiver at these images, it's not scary but my brain just doesn't like it.

Some people are afraid of heights or spiders or clowns. Im not at all but I fear for my life if I ever see a grasshopper. I doubt the general society is what creates these irrational fears.

Theres nothing really... i guess scary about the images but they make me terrified and want to puke. I can hold a tarantula sitting on the edge of a building but I cant watch these videos or gifs, and I doubt society's babying made me feel that way.

Nope. You're just "week".

Maybe u watched to much bugs life

I guess I'm fortunate not to have any irrational fears. The only thing that gets to me is heights with no railings. It's strange because I can cliff jump with no issues. But if I'm at the edge of said cliff and look down for long enough, I get dizzy as hell and feel like I'm going to pass out.

I don't think you understand how phobias work. Might wanna educate yourself.
I fully understand what a phobia is. I think most of these have more to do with attention seeking than extreme irrational fear. The past 10yrs or so I have seen more easily offended and scared people than my whole life. Its creepy for sure. To have to remove it from the view of adults? Eh... but what ever.

I wish I had Sherlocks mind palace so I could delete the image from my brain.

I excpeted bad stuff, but the image was above my bad stuff scale.

Is this the best example? Someone putting a warning before a disturbing image? Do you also get angry when you see "viewer discretion advised" on TV? Let it go man, this isn't a good example of PC culture gone mad. We're all having a good time in this thread.

This is soothing to me for some reason lol. This is like that blackhead thread we had here, I don't know why but its just liberating to me.

Holy shit, I didn't know this had a name. That same image you mentioned would make my whole body shiver and go all creepy crawly. I have no issue with gore, blood...pretty much anything except this type of thing.

It happens a bit just thinking about it now. I always tied it to skin conditions (that tree dude messed with me as well), but I thought it was just me. Fortunately I dodged this one after seeing the first few responses.

Edit: Yeah, just checked the wiki page for trypophobia and that's definitely the thing. I've had goosebumps for 3 minutes and that image won't get out of my head.

Saw the glitch while browsing my Twitter feed, gave me goosebumps! That trypophobia stuff makes me super uncomfortable. Fucking holes, man...

The images don't do anything that make me "scared" it literally makes me me fill physically ill it's more like revulsion. There's a similar picture of a frog that does the same thing.

There is also early research to showing it's more an instinctive biological reaction as opposed to the kind of fear you are referring to. http://www.psychologicalscience.org...lutionary-survival-response.html#.WM2ItqIpBaQ

A very statistically high number of people report having a reaction to similar images despite never having issues in the past in studies. Even in random samples it can get over 70%.

I've been looking at graphics for practically my whole 37-year life. I know what glitches look like. So my first thought was, "it's a glitch" and my second was "what's the big deal?"

But then I looked really closely at the second picture and I felt a weird tingle in my stomach.

I can't explain it. But now I feel weird. I have no understanding of what just happened.

It's always a lovely experience when you open a thread and discover you have a phobia you never knew about.

Or to put it another way, why won't my skin stop crawling

Seriously. Like, dial it back a notch.

People can be freaked out by freaky images, and not be simpering cowards about other "real" shit or somehow being part of "attention seeking outrage culture." Sometimes creepy looking shit is just creepy looking shit.

I guess I better go out and wrestle a bear to restore some "man-cred," right?

Are you like 20?

I love how people pretend there weren't just as irrational or even more irrational things people were getting offended at prior to 2000.

I have to say that I'm loving the reactions people are having. I look at these pics and say, "Yup, clearly glitched out heads here", while others feel it's nightmare enducing. Just interesting how different my reaction is compared to so many others.
