yes but it's not 3 dvds tall. That helmet is about double that.

don't you mean three CD cases ?

it only played up till a long skinny Mario came outside. anyone got a link to the rest of it?

12 megs is what downloaded for me but it had no end, just sorta cut off.

If you notice, the video uses the exact wording Perrin used to descibe it when it shows the visor detached from the console and it shows the dimensions of the visor. Still fake, though, unfortunately.

Why? While the presentation was cool for a fake, I don't think I want nintendo to release virtual boy 2. Honestly I'm not a techie but is the technology for '3d glasses' or whatever available and cheap enough for use in consoles? IF nintendo does something like that, I don't see how it could work. I consider myself a nintendo fan but if the revolution is as revolutionary as the DS double screen then no sale.

I don't know why I'm being so pessimistic a few days before E3. :'(

download the video.

I don't care if its fake which it is. It was VERY entertaining. For that reason alone download it.

I loved the Mario 64xds segue way into many many castles. Stupendous. The guy has too much free time

As for the console. :lol. Samus + LuigMario look so wrong.

Highly recommended for entertainment value

Guess who is posting this with tonight's update...

Nah, He wouldn't...Would he?

Anyways, that had to be the wackest design I've ever seen for a system ever. I couldn't help but laugh my ass off when it first popped on the screen. The guy responsible for this has way too much time on his hands. Quality video though.

It looks totally real up until the system is shown. However, despite looking real, it becomes obviously fake when they mention Virtual Boy. Nintendo doesn't ever acknowledge it's existance. Also, It said GameCube came out in 2002, which is a year later than the year it really came out in. Not to mention the use of 128 Marios which never game out, was only a tech demo (which became Pikmin), and was really called "100 Marios."

if u want I got official name of Zelda gamecube, can't post direct topic with link because it is my website, so if one want post .... I can PM the link

Well, I'm not surprised. He's been out of the loop so he'd have to fill up his site with something.

* renders are so ugly. looks like a brain/toaster.

* the giveaway for me came during a close up of the machine. It was a round hole but you could see the polygonal edge.

I think that every time a console manufaturer makes a new system, they should hold a contest to see how can make the most accurate mock-up. Should be split up into: Closest to the actual console, coolest design, most imaginative design. The people who win should either get a pass to E3 that year to see the hardware, or should win the console like a week before its street date or something.

To make sure the surprise isn't ruined, the invites would just be like, "You win! Come to E3!" and then once they got there they'd go up on a stage and say who's was what, and then show off the console.

That'd be so cool. :D

Some of us have been playing games since Pong and Skeet. Personally, I'm ready for something new and original. Plus, it's a given that it will play "normal" games as well, otherwise it wouldn't be backwards compatible with the Cube and it wouldn't connect to computer monitors, etc.

It's SUPPOSED to look like a brain. That's why there's the whole "left brain right brain" part of the show. :)

yeah, that was fuckin awesome. and the whole emersiveness concept.

Project Reality Revolution !

Holy crap. Virtual boy combined with a useless motorcycle helmet. Must be fake.

I don't think you understood the video fully. The "motorcycle helmet" as you call it is the actual console. Either streaming graphics to the headset wirelessly or connecting directly to a TV/Monitor. Also the main system has a built in infa red camera built in to catch movement as you stand in front of it, so its hardly useless. Pitty its fake.

Nintendo fans are some of the most dedicated and talent forgers of all time presentation wise. That looked very proffesionally done but then again I have seen similiar quality in my Commercial Graphics Design class.
