OK, I've just finished my Demon Stone review. Now I think I'll play some NES and/or Atari ST and/or PC and/or PS2 games.

Captain gave us a rousing speech about how he was going to request to go to Iraq (no Captain, YOU DON'T GET TO DEPLOY.), then we started talking REAL business about the potential Hurricane Ivan Relief force to be sent to Florida and all parts south if it gets to that point.

Inventoried tents, medical supplies, MRE's (feel sorry for the family that gets frankfurters, they still suck IMO).

Regular day otherwise.

I played World of Warcraft until around three. Then I went tailgating for about an hour and half before going to the Arkansas/Texas game.

Woke up, did some laundry. Then I went to a house warming party at my boss's new place in Brooklyn. Went back to Manhattan and treated a friend to a birthday dinner. Got drinks afterwards. I went back to his place and when he decided to go to bed, I figured I'd go home too. Instead, when I saw the light towers (he lives on 7th Ave and 26th St) I figured I'd check it out up close, so I walked all the way down there. Quite the spectacle. Then I treated myself to a cab ride home, which I do ever so often. Now I can't go to bed since I never bothered to fold my laundry.

I woke up, decided I needed to sleep more, and slept for another half hour. During that time, I had a dream that I attended a WWE dinner banquet and accused HHH of giving Vince fellatio. HHH looked at me and said that I look like him, then we saw Droz on tv wrestling a match, no longer paralyzed.

Then I went to work and gave the usual customer disservice, gave a girl a ride home, and here I am.

What the hell? September 11th isn't a special holiday that warrants some stupid thread about "how did you spend your September 11th". If we made such a big deal about days in which tragedy struck, we'd have a thread like this for EVERY FUCKING DAY OF THE YEAR.

i just quit playing WOW like a half hour ago! and i joined in on a raid of an alliance town (actually it was a defense of a horde town, but the alliance got pushed back to their town so we went on the offensive). i love this new national holiday.

I was with a bunch of friends at a Tea Station drinking boba and playing card games like Slap Jack and Big 2. We had alot of fun and tomorrow we're going to have a BBQ for one of our friend's B-day, she's 21 ;)

First, I beat Pikmin 2. Then I got about 2 hours of sleep and went to go get my hair cut. After that I went to church for 3 hours. I haven't been to church in a long time, but today was a special occasion as it was my mom's/grandma's/aunt's church's 50th anniversary dealy. My grandma's been part of the choir since the church began, so it was a big deal that I was there today. Afterwards, we got a picture with Cardinal Mahoney (sp?) and went home, watched Futurama, etc.

Played Pikmin 2; read about 50 pages of Michael Herr's Dispatches; did laundry; went to an outdoor barbecue in the evening. A nearby church tolled its bell at the time of day when the first tower was hit--that, and the front pages of newspapers, were the only reminder I had of the event.

Company I work for went to work the Texas A&M/Wyoming game @ Kyle Field in College Station,TX. God damn that place can get loud. That shit was awesome. Before kickoff, some F18 Hornets did a fly over. Fucking bad ass. The game was decent, but the atmosphere...HOOOLY SHIT. Awesome.

You should see the atmosphere after UT beats the shit out of them.

How would TU fans know what it is like, they are all gone by halftime.

Anyway, I went to the A&M-Wyoming game. First row on the third deck. The place was loud, but no where close to as loud as it can get. 65,000 were there and that place can fit 87,000. Plus it was Wyoming. Go to a big game and that place is twice to three times as loud as it was yesterday.

Went to Ft. Harrod in Harrodsburg, KY with my girlfriend... a nice historic little trek through the countryside in honor of Patriot Day...

Then went to the Shaker Village nearby--didn't go on a tour because the money grubbing Shakers want $13 a pop...

Ended up in Nicholasville, KY at a Rite-Aid, buying enough alcohol to take down a giraffe...

Bought some playing cards from Wal-Mart with a bald eagle and flag on the front and American landmarks on the Aces and Jokers, of which I immediately tossed the Jokers (what worthless cards)...

God Bless America
