How do I play MSX Snatcher?

I finally spent sometime to dig around the web to find Snatcher. I found it and I need to play it with a MSX Dos 2 emulator. I found RuMSX which is free but I have no fucking idea how to create a harddisk in this emulator to play Snatcher. In fact, this whole MSX emulation thing is very complicated. Does anyone know how to get this shit run or u know a better emulator that I can use for free? I would appreicate if someone can give me a step by step instruction on what emulator to use and exactly how to setup and run the goddam game. Thanks a lot.

I don't think you need to create a HDD to play Snatcher.
MSX, normally didn't come with HDD at all - and most games do not require to have HDD. However, IIRC, Snatcher should be all disc images - as it was not a cartridge game but a FDD (Floppy) game in 2-3 discs.

Most games on MSX are on Rom Cartridge, and there are some few games and magazines on FDD. you can tell it by the extension (ROM as cart, dsk as FDD)

Also Snatcher might have used FCC cartridge too (for FM sound) - or I might be getting confused with SD Snatcher, which definitely used FCC cartridge - stick that in into your cartidge slot, and put the dsk file into your FDD1 slot and power the emulator on - it should work..

I used ParaMSX (0.46b) a couple times. It runs well, has a nice graphical GUI and is very, very user-friendly and intuitive. I don't have the link but should be easy to find.

I haven't got the other HDD installed, but I was able to run Metal Gear 1 and 2, as well as Snatcher and SD Snatcher pretty well. Completely forget how to do it, but it's able to be done so don't give up.

I don't know anything about paraMSX, but BlueMSX seems to be the best MSX emulator these days. They've made a ton of progress with it.
