Everyone in this thread who has their consoles on the floor due to their size.

Please buy yourself a laptop/monitor shelf/stand. Just a simple rectangle with four legs is fine. You want to have your device up off the floor as the most dust settles on the lowest surface. By having the console slightly elevated you can prevent a lot of it from being sucked in.

series X vertical because there is no otherway.

PS5 don't know because as soon as it was hooked up i threw it behind the TV stand to hide it so i don't need to even see the thing.

and i know you didn't ask but here is my switch

I keep my Series S horizontal and PS5 vertical...I will say one thing, the design of the PS5 disc drive is the stupidest thing i've seen no matter how you place the console,If it's horizontal it's underneath the arches and looks so wrong which is the reason in the begining people would put their PS5's upside down lol cuz it just looks natural with it on top.

And If it's on vertical it's somehow still wrong because the discs seem to be faced in the other side when you slide them in or at least geared towards left-handed users.

ps5, series x, and switch oled all laying down horizontal on my big tv stand in the living room. The other ps5 and series x i have in my man cave both are standing on a shelf i built for my setup.

Horizontal. I'm a hobbit and the PS5 is too tall for my hobbit domicile. Fuck that, I'm waiting for Sony to redesign the PS5, so it doesn't look like it got cooked in the microwave when it does sit horizontal.

It does, but it's the only solution I have. I really wish there was a way to at least adjust the power logo for horizontal.
I actually was just looking at my XSX and thinking of how they could make that happen. What if the button was a little cheap lcd display? It would rotate with data from an accelerometer.. Heck, they could even have little power button themes, an example would be the old Xbox logo.

I always went horizontal if only to avoid problems reading discs. But with my PS5 it just isn't very stable when it's horizontal, and it looks terrible so I went vertical.

Well however it makes sense. I have two PS5s. One is horizontal because of the TV stand it's I'm and the other is vertical because of where it is.

So in my case both

2 series x 1 veritcal, 1 horizontal
1 ps5 horizonal
1 series s horizontal

All the placement is due to area and space.
If i had i choice i prefer the series x verical, ps5 horizonal, series s looks good either way.

Verticle PS5.

Bought entertainment thing for the tv with cubbies big enough for consoles. Was dumb and didn't think it through. Not enough space for PS5 to breath. Was getting super warm in there so now it's verticle beside the tv

Pretty confident one if my kids will knock it over eventually.

Vertical, because I don't have room for a bigger stand in my small living room. =s There is a PS5, PS3, Switch hooked up to the tv in this picture, and then I added the Wiii U next to the PS3 sometime later so I could play some Wii U games.
