They offer PRP's depending on price of the system its 1 year extra PRP for a cost..

$300-$400 its 39.99
$200-$300 its 29.99
$100-$200 its 19.99
$100 and under its 14.99 or 9.99 i forget (no one ever buys this)

Game Informer Subscriptions are 14.99 and you get the card which has benefits (listed below)

Card Benefits
10% off used games, dvd's and accessories
10% extra to used games, dvd's and accessories

Also Game informer includes coupons every once in a while for card members with Buy 2 get 1 Free or +40% extra trade in for 4 or more titles on certain systems etc etc.


New stuff has a 7 day return if opened for the same item if its defective.. if you dont like it and its open you cant return it for full credit only trade it in. New merchandise can be returned within 30 days if its not opened.

Used items have a 7 day money back refund if you dont like the game or its not working for you, after 7 days if you run into a problem with the game like its not working all used merchandise including accessories games and dvd's carry a 90 day guarntee (hold receipt), that includes systems

He meant 10% extra on tradeins which is pointless since they almost always have a trade in offer better then that. Sometimes you can use your card on top of that, sometimes not. But almost always your better off selling your wares on half.com/ebay/amazon

Almost always? we havent had a better trade in offer in over a month now.. and before that it was like another month..

The trade in part was just added this past year when they made the subscriptions a year and 15 dollars as opposed to 10 months and 10 dollars.

I agree selling on half.com/ebay/amazon is usually better.. the only advantage to sellign to a store like gamestop/eb is tax free credit and its just easier, and i guess the option of being able to use a good promotion or not..

When I worked there earlier this year, when they first started the increased $15 plan there seemed to be more days with a trade in offer (especially the trade 3 get 10 extra dollars offer) then there were days without.

About the 7 days money back refund on pre-own, don't you get a lot of people abusing the system and taking this as a free rental ?

The stores have the right to refuse the policy to customers who abuse it.
