203.4 up, 216.7 down. 500 mbs Google fiber
2.5gb/s so more or less what is in the OP, internet isn't really prepared for this speed.
I can download 100gb in like 8 minutes, do your math.
2.5 giga bites per second = 2500 Mbits/s = around 300 MB/s2.5gb/s is 20,000 Mbp/s...
1666.7
2.5 giga bites per second = 2500 Mbits/s = around 300 MB/s
It's x 1000 / 8. It is in bites not bytes2.5 gb/s (giga bites per second) x 1000 x 8 = 20,000 Mbp/s
It's x 1000 / 8. It is in bites not bytes
b = bits, B = bytesYou said 2.5gb/s (not counted in bits) then said gigabites (not gigabits)
It seemed like you were referring to gigabytes by gb/s and thinking gigabites sounds like gigabytes
b = bits, B = bytes
Where do you live? That's cheap as hell. Don't think I've seen a better price to performance ever.
wtf? HOW? WHERE?
Everyone in Australia
Fibre here mate, 1000 down and 400 up with 2ms latency. Took a long ass time to materialise.Everyone in Australia

Sydney or Melbourne?
Melbourne, so all that fibre goodness and still get outshot in FPS in Aussie games by Sydneysiders. Fuckers.
Did a speed test today and was shocked to see how fast it is with my VPN off. I don't do a lot of downloading/uploading so it's kind of a waste.
This was us a few years ago. Paying for $80 for 50, but actually getting 13mbps average and data caps.
$70/month. Rural WiFi. Point-to-point internet. No other choice other than capped Satellite. Starlink not available yet. FML
My guy is on his own private island in the middle off nowhere (assuming you're the blue dot)
Happy with it considering where I live
It must be so weird to have everything be upside down all the time.

It's nice being outside of town; the nearest neighbor is about a half mile away. Although the surrounding land has been sold, and they're installing wind turbines, they're an eye sore, and you can hear them at night, a constant whooshing sound. So I'm probably going to be moving. This was us a few years ago. Paying for $80 for 50, but actually getting 13mbps average and data caps.
Thankfully fiber got installed. Now it's $60/month for 100mbps up & down, with no data caps.
On the plus side, literally everything else is better than living in the city brother. Take in the fresh air.

Are you on a boat?
