I saw it today at a Gamestop used for 25, and they're having a buy 2 used get 1 free deal.

I've heard a lot of people say it was good, but I just wanted to hear the GAF general consensus.

theres nothing kiddy about klonoa 2. i almost threw the controller a few times at mira mira. best platformer this gen by far. the music....my god the music.

It's okay. There's nothing particularly extraordinary about it. It has nice looking, colorful graphics. It can be beaten in one sitting. I thought it was incredibly easy. I don't think I died once.

The game is truly great in terms of design, gameplay, music, and sheer fun-factor. However while it does have a decent number of levels, it's amazingly easy. Unfortunately it's easy enough to make replaying it feel a bit boring :/

unbelievably overrated.

it's still a fun little game, but it's hardly the second coming. IMO it wasn't as fun or nearly as charming as the PS1 original. the cinemas are insufferably dull (but also skippable.)

The story is terrible and the game is too short and easy. You can beat it in 2 days of casual play of a few hours at a time and get everything out of it. It looks really nice though, and I like Klonoa. It's worth it for really cheap.

not really, because it's not as fresh. and yes, because the additional bucks were lavished on giving it a random-episode-of-pokemon quality story complete with totally boring cinematics, it's more annoying.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I wound up trading DDR:E and FF1+2oS in to get Klonoa 2, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, and Mega Man X7.

Tomorrow I'll pop in Klonoa, I figured since I haven't seen it in two years I might as well just get it. SFAC I've been meaning to since SFIII is ace, and MMX7 is an early birthday present to my brother.

Yeah, I know, I rented it last year and hated it. My brother will still play through it though.
