It's a transitional period between one generation and another. An inflection point if you will. This is a time where speculation is rampant and damage control is even moreso. There are still plenty of good discussions on the gaming forum and it's the main place I go for news.
It has gotten worse but like I said, it's this period from one gen to another. Things will calm down when this period is over.
