By "complete, I mean beat the main campaign/story.

Maybe every 5th game I'll find super engaging and complete.

Most recently that has consisted of Prince of Persia Lost Crown, Supraland, and Prey.

Games that couldn't keep my attention long enough included Astrobot, Ninja Gaiden 4, and FFVII Rebirth.

Greater than %90 in the last 5 years, but it used to be 25-50% and I hated it this way cause it's like dealing with food leftovers, the more I don't eat what I bought the worse I feel about it.

I achieve the platinum trophy for most everything (I've around 20 or so games I've abandoned either because trophies are busted or unattainable).

I never pick up a game simply to "try first."

I like platinum trophies so either 90% of games I 100%. But as I've grown older I don't platinum something I don't enjoy as I did in the past for the sake of a platinum trophy.

I picked 25-50%, although i would guess its closer to 50%.

It takes me a long time to actually complete a game because i play through a few games at once usually, but if its a game i like i will eventually finish it, maybe even 100% it sometimes.

I selected more than 75%. Because honestly if I'm interested enough to buy a game with a story/campaign, I'll complete it. I've become more and more particular/selective these days, so it makes sense.

I feel like the only times where I've gotten burnt out or put something down is on service/online games. Where there's no real endgame, but a specific level or completion of quests that make it so.

It kind of depends what you mean. I have loads of games and like starting all of them just to try them out, but I don't have time to really focus on many of them. But of the 20% or so I actually give a decent amount of attention to, it's probably about 80%. If I don't it's usually cos I've put it down for some reason and then put off going back to it for too long. Happened last year with Ori and The Blind Forest. Don't know why cos I really loved it. Was about 80% done too, I'd say. Still intending to go back at some point, but it'll be a real pain learning all the controls again etc.

Ever since I cleaned up my Steam backlog and removed like 300+ games, I've been finishing way more games lately. I only kept the stuff I'm actually interested in and know I'll have a good time with.

I've already completed around 20 games this year alone, and I only dropped 2 games. Hopefully I can finish another 20 before the end of the year, and next year I wanna finally clear my backlog for good.

50-75ish, I try a lot of games out to see if i like them and I drop off a lot if I dont. Like recently I tried out Soul Blazer/Terranigma/Illusion of Gaia and only IoG really clikced with me

It takes a pretty miserable game for me to not beat it at least once. I'd estimate my competition percentage is about 97% across all consoles and my platinum rate is about 90% on PlayStation.

Not as much as I'd want to, probably around 50-60% of the ones I play (assuming they have an ending).

What bothers me is that I know that if I abandon some large games the chances of coming back to them are rather slim.

RIght now I think I've completed around 70% of the games I own.

This year I'm trying to complete more games than any previous year.

All you 90 percenters are so lucky!

I give up on most games because my ADHD is like...

Almost all of them. But I stopped buying games during deals a longer time ago. Backlog is at ZERO. So usually when I buy a game, I play and complete it immediately. In 2026 I bought 9 games and 8 of them I finished.

I used to finish most games, but modern games are so big I don't have time or get burned out before the end.

I'm close to 100% on games that I buy. At this point in life I just know my taste pretty well and it's very rare for me to buy a game I don't like enough to at least finish the main story. I also rarely buy games on day 1 so it's always easy to read opinions online and make an informed purchase.

Once you add in the games I play through Ps+, borrow from friends or get from other random giveaways (epic store and such) it obviously goes down, as that's when I tend to try out games I wouldn't normally buy. But even with that the total is probably still above 80%.

Same. If I don't beat a game within like a month, I'm probably not going back to it.

Surprisingly I managed to beat FFVII Remake, after letting it sat on ice for months, and in total probably took like a year. That was definitely an outlier.

Most of them. As long as the game is good I'll probably end up beating it at some point.

I usually played games one by one, but this year I've found myself jumping between them a lot. I still mean to beat them all tho.

These days, the game has to be completely unfun or brutally difficult for me to not beat it before I move on to something else.

The last game I dropped was Death Stranding.

I'm in the 25% group , I have to really love the game to finish it , last one was Absolum, Reanimal and Doom the dark ages, I usually IF I finish a game I usually don't go back!
when its to recent in my mind I jump to other games

Hard to put it in a percentage. Last year I finished 54 I think with the 52 games in 52 weeks challenge, this year I'm at 22 or 23. However I rarely play the games I buy because my backlog is extremely long.

The only larger game (~30-35 hour long) I resumed recently (after taking a year long break) was Miasma Chronicles. I needed about 1-2 hours to get familiar with the mechanics again and try to establish where I am and how much I've progressed - that sucked. That's why I don't do it and if I come back to something I'll play it from the beginning.

The same thing happened to me with Ori last year as well. I got frustrated with one of the platform puzzles, took a break, and just haven't gone back to it.
Very little time and patience for some games anymore.

I picked 50-75%, but when I was younger, I like to think it was around 90%.

I tend to complete almost every game I purchase, but I also don't purchase that many games in a year. At least not anymore.

It kind of nags me if I don't complete it, even in cases where the game isn't all that engaging. I tend to force my way through anyway, sometimes by lowering the difficulty so that it becomes less of a hassle to go through.

It used to be a %100, I wouldn't start a game unless until I finished the previous one but the years has punished me

On this gen, probably 50 to 75%.

I don't have time to play everything, so I am more selective with my purchases. Also, I usually play games until I am not enjoying it anymore, it doesn't matter if I had finished the story or not, when the fun stop, I stop.

For example, I have 50 hours played of AC Shadows and I only did like 40% of the story. Maybe one day I will finish it, but if I don't, I had my fill.

Before this gen.... Probably 25% or less... I used to buy any game that I was remotely interested... I have ps3 games that I played 30 minutes and never touched it again.

I play modded open world games mostly and i always restart before completing them or choosing an ending, so i complete very few games.

I tried going back to it but I think I'm in the last dungeon and I was completely lost tbh. I wasn't even really frustrated with it or anything, just got busy for a week or so and never went back.

I decided 3 years ago to not start a game until I finished the previous one. It took me one year to finish Rebirth, and now I'm still playing AC Shadows despite pre-ordering it (so playing it since March 2025).

In 2032 I'll be able to play Ghost of Yotei
