How much are you spending on a Switch day one?

Nintendo Switch console - €309,- (got a deal for it)
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - €60,-
Nintendo Switch protective carry case with Zelda prints - €28,-
Total - €397,-

That's what I am getting for certain at launch, and the following items I am contemplating buying closely after launch (March 2017):
Pro controller - €70,-
Fast RMX - €? (€20,- like the previous game?)

Out of pocket with tax:

Switch - $88.66 (Christmas/Birthday gift cards covered the rest)
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - $51.95
MicroSD card - $43.29

For a grand total of $183.90. I'll have it all paid off by the time the console releases.

Price is the reason I'm waiting...

What I wanted?

Console $300
Pro Controller $70
Zelda $60

$430+ tax...

Nah...not right now with so much backlog to get to.

I'm getting the SE of Breath of The Wild. Discount and I have a gift card. Might as well

But no Switch. Switch seems perfect for holiday

Switch + Zelda

I'd might buy a screen protector and carrying case too if I see some I like and the price is right, although my unit will usually be docked.

Switch + tax = $323
Breath of the Wild Master Edition + tax = $140
Link Archer amiibo + tax = $17
Link Rider amiibo + tax = $17
Guardian amiibo + tax = $21
Zelda amiibo + tax = $17
Bokoblin amiibo + tax = $17

Current order total = $553 or so

Been setting aside $50 per paycheck for a while now to avoid having to cover that big of a purchase out of my monthly checking funds, so I'll have enough to pay all that off immediately. I also just joined GCU at Best Buy, so I may be able to take advantage of an immediate return to drive down the cost of the amiibo by 20%. (Not sure I wanna risk some technical glitch screwing things up for the Master Edition.)

Might still buy Super Bomberman R and a pair of the neon-colored Joy-Con, which'd run me another $150 or so. Getting that out of the way before Mario Kart 8 Deluxe comes out would give me a nice set of three games to play, two of them multiplayer, with controllers to go around. My wife and I have been overspending a little on other stuff lately, though (and just had to cover half of the cost of a health emergency for my mother-in-law's dog), so I might hold off until I can save up again.

In year one, I'll probably also end up buying (in addition to the stuff I already ordered, as well as Bomberman and an extra set of Joy-Con):

- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ($52 with GCU)
- Minecraft: Switch Edition ($26 with GCU)
- Rime (assuming $52 with GCU)
- Skyrim ($52 with GCU)
- Sonic Mania (assuming $52 with GCU)
- Splatoon 2 ($52 with GCU)
- Super Mario Odyssey ($52 with GCU)
- Yooka-Laylee (assuming $52 with GCU)
- 2x Switch Joy-Con Wheel pairs ($15 x2)

Maybe
- 2x Switch Pro Controller ($70 x2)
- A second Switch so my wife and I can play Splatoon together online ($323)
- A second copy of Splatoon 2 if Nintendo won't let us share it digitally ($52 with GCU)

We're getting into $1,500 spent over the year now.
Worth it.

Console - 300$

Charging grip - 29.99

Legend of zelda - 60

Bomberman r - 60

Messenger bag for switch (possibly) - 40$

So around 490-500

Not even counting a SD card I gotta get plus some of those late march games that won't be at launch :/

$0 thanks to the EB games trade in promo.

I got the following but planning to change the game and controller.
Grey Switch - 399.99
Zelda - 79.99
Neon Joycon (L&R) - 99.99

Since we still don't have 100% confirmed on in Sweden, I'm not sure how much I will spend.
But with the Swedish prices I wouldn't be surprised to die over 550 dollars.

I'm getting gray console, Zelda regular edition and a pro controller.
Would like to get the Zelda amiibo too, but it will have to wait.

For sure:
-Console: $300
-Zelda: $60
-Case: I expect it to be $20-30

Total: $380-390 + tax

Maybe:

-Pro Controller: $70
-Bomberman: I'm only willing to spend $20-$30 on it

New Total: $470-$490

Oh, and a wolf link Amiibo, which should only be around 10 dollars used.

I squirreled away $600 for launch but I'm going to wait. Might get a new case, CPU, and RAM instead. Transplant my storage and 970 over and save for a 1080 and G-Sync monitor.

$720 and that doesn't include an extra micro SD Card.

System, Botw, botw special, botw master, neon blue joycons, joycon charging grip, blue straps for joycons.

If pro controller is a thing at launch, then 790, but i've been unable to preorder it.

So i can have them charging while i'm playing with the other pair.

And also because I suspect they might be in short supply like the wii remotes were at Wii Launch. And I'll need them EVENTUALLY and they likely won't ever go on sale (wii remotes are STILL 40 bucks)

Why all 3? and not just the Master ?

So far, not including preordered games that won't arrive at launch:

Console $300
Zelda SE $80
Bomberman $32
Hori stand $13
Hori Game Case $10

Waiting on:
Pro Controller $70
Screen Protector - ?
Snipperclips - doesn't seem to be launch

Have Mario Kart and Dragon Quest 1+2 on preorder.

Console - $300
Pro Controller - $70
Zelda Special Edition - $90
Super Bomberman R - $60?

So that comes out to around $520 + tax if Bomberman actually ends up being full price

I'm getting the console and Zelda Master Edition only at first. I'll get a pro controller eventually, but that will depend on when d-pad heavy games start coming out for it. I'd get more, but I'm a pretty poor student until I graduate at the end of the year.

*whistle* Man, some of you all are going all out!

(all with tax)
Switch - $321
Zelda - $38.51

Total: ~$360

Can totally wait to buy almost everything else, especially any kind of SD Card (what up Black Friday!). I don't expect to need one until year 2 or 3 of the thing anyway, as I'm going Physical for everything I can. Also getting lucky that I know two other people buying the Switch so we can try out Arms, Bomberman, and any other multiplayer with their Joy-Cons.

* Switch console (gray because I'm boring)
* Breath of the Wild
* Archer Link Amiibo

After a bunch of Amazon gift cards and after GCU/tax from Best Buy for the rest, I'm at $132.08 all told at the moment.

There's a good chance that I'll get some sort of carrying case and maybe a pro controller, but I haven't ordered anything like that yet.

Tentatively, whatever Switch + Zelda SE + Bomberman costs me. So $440 hopefully?

That presumes Nintendo doesn't drive me insane before launch with worsening details.

Console - $300
Pro Controller - $70
Joy-con Set - $80
Chargeable Grip - $30

Games -
Zelda 47 (best buy)
123 switch (best buy)

SD card - varies in price Probably
Extra battery - varies in price Proably

Nothing on day one, but once we know the details of Nintendo's online service and there is a Splatoon bundle for a reasonable price, I'd likely buy that, the pro controller, ARMS, and maybe Bomberman.

Day 1:

Switch (Gray) - $188.88
Zelda BOTW - $51.83
Amiibo (Link (Rider), Link (Archer), Zelda, Bokoblin) - $69.08
Amiibo (Guardian) - $21.59

Day 1 if it’s available:

Pro Controller - $70

Console (Gray)- $297.49
Zelda- $38.24
= $335.73

I'm going to need to buy the 200GB Micro SD and that should be around $60-$70 but I will wait on that.

Anyone know if a silicon case is worth it? Or should i just buy a carry case and just stuff my Switch in there after playing.

Well, if Day 1 is the day I finally get to buy the system, whenever that is:

$299 for the system
$60 for Zelda

And one maybe:
$50 for 1,2 Switch.

Don't think I'll be buying any accessories right away, although I will likely get the Pro controller and an SD card at some point.

Console-$300
Zelda-$60
Pro controller-$70
SD-waiting near launch to get this...price varies

So I imagine $500 or a bit more

The console - 300
Zelda - 60
Bomberman - 60
A durable case - ?

About 420 before sales tax. I preordered through amazon, but depending on what's announced between now and launch regarding the online "service" and the virtual console, I might cancel it.

£280 (neon) + £45 (hopefully - Zelda) + £17 (official carry case + screen protector)

So £342, or almost what I paid for a PS4 with 0 games

For sure getting the console itself plus Zelda. So that's $360 plus tax.

Might cave and grab Bomberman, still undecided there. 1 2 Switch has me intrigued, but I don't think I'll buy it right off. Who knows.

Charging grip, pro controller, and extra joycon set are all things I'll probably buy someday. Of those, Pro controller is the one I'd more likely gravitate to at launch.

It's gonna get expensive. :|

Everything already pre-ordered on Amazon.fr

Console : 329€
Zelda : 64€
Bomberman : ??€ (not listed)
Pro Controller : 69€
Screen Protector alone : ??€ (not listed)

And probably some indies, should be around 500€, no doubt the console/games will be a few € cheaper by the time it releases, for example I got Premium Wii U at 311€ at launch on it instead of the 350€ MSRP.

I've budgeted about £500 all in all. That's

£279.99 Switch Console
£59.99 Zelda BotW
£69.99 Extra pair of JoyCon
£24.99 Joycon Charging Grip
£19.99 Mario Carry Case
~£40 128Gb Micro SD card

Probably add another bit if I want to get another USB-C cable, and if anything on the eShop takes my interest day one.

Console - €329 (italian price)
Pro Controller - €70
Zelda - €70
Bomberman R - ???
Zelda cover/screen (hori) - ???
