how much wator do you drink

I drink more water than anything else. I probably drink 10-12 cups per day.

Yep, feels good.

Hot damn, this is like my 4th top of page post today. Time to celebrate! Shots of wator all around!

I used to drink practically no water up until earlier this year. Now I drink about 4-6 glasses a day.

What's funny is that my dark circles diminished significantly once I started drinking a normal amount of water. I never would have made the connection between dark circles and dehydration, but it makes sense now.

How does one not drink water?
(serious question, no offence)

About 2 or 3 litors, plus about .5l during training, but it depends on the day. I've been drinking much more wator in the recent years though.

When I said that I used to never drink water, I meant I almost never drank water by itself. Obviously, I consumed other things that had water in them like soda or I would be dead.

As for why, I really don't know. Lazy, I guess? I guess I've always preferred to drink something that had flavor. It's pretty baffling when I think back on it now, so I'm not really sure.

It's pretty much all I ever drink now, so quite a bit. I remember switching to it about 2 years ago, going from literally never drinking any to dropping all the pop I used to chug down to swap for it. Ended up losing a good 30 pounds just from that.

I used to always want something with flavor and felt water had none, but I now love the taste of water even if I can't really explain it. It's just extremely refreshing.

i drink around 2 lt of wator per day plus around 4 short coffee and a minimal amount of fruit per day.

It doesn't matter how much water you drink, everybody is different. The tip is, if your pee is transparent, then you're hidratated.

All I drink is water with rare exceptions for orange juice or milk, probably 5 liters per day or something I just refill plastic bottles. I've heard that's not good to do because of the chemicals in the plastic or something but fuck buying new bottles or using cups.

This is probably a meme started by water bottling companies.

But also grossly inaccurate.

If there is an issue with plastic bottles, it's one that's true for any drinking receptacle - bacterial contamination from backwash and mouth contact.

Solution; either don't make mouth contact, or wash the bottles.

In my experience, eschewing mouth contact (i.e. just pour it from above into your mouth) is the great lazy man solution.

I drink plenty of wator everyday, although squash is mixed in with it, like 5 parts wator 1 part squash.

Mmmm artificial sweeteners.

Same thing happens to me. Im just starting up my health kick right now and I think this is the time I really stick with it. Although there is such a thing as too much water, if you've had too much it is an AWFUL feeling.

Dude, that's me. I just realized it the other day (but have yet to do anything about it). I don't drink water. I haven't just had a straight up glass of regular ass water in months. I drink mostly Crystal Light iced tea and maybe some diet sodas. I should probably change this.

Three liters a day at minimum.

I had a friend that behaved like an American. Sodas, juices, gatorades, that shit. I busted his balls for ages to get him to start drinking water. Once he started he couldn't thank me enough. He lost weight. His head stopped hurting. His skin cleared up. He started sleeping better. Sodas are fucking shit. You're better off drinking beer.

I drink lots of water, helps keep my weight down. I have to take a piss every 2 hours or so though.

I always laugh at fat people drinking 'diet' sodas and how they think they're living healthy and drinking water for fat people.

On gym/run days - probably 12 or so glasses of water, probably more.
On non-gym days - probably 6 or so as I live a fairly sedentary existence otherwise. If I drink more than that I'm taking regular visits to the lavatory.

I barely eat any salt, though, which helps. I also don't drink anything else except a decaf coffee in the morning.

Shouldn´t people drink just about 2 liters of fluid a day? Because otherwise the kidneys have to work overtime? The amounts of wator some of you guys drink are crazy :o.

I drink 100 fluid ounces a day. It's so much water that I have schedule and checkpoints throughout the day while I work. On the weekends I drink less water because I'm usually out and about doing stuff and I'm not so regimented about my intake.

The 2 liter mark is minimal, which should be enough to replace what you lost if you didn't have a busy day. You have to drink more than 2 liters to prevent kidney stones anyway, so the kidneys work better if you take in more.

In the US, the reference daily intake (RDI) for water is 3.7 litres per day (L/day) for human males older than 18, and 2.7 L/day for human females older than 18[8] including water contained in food, beverages, and drinking water. The amount of water varies with the individual, as it depends on the condition of the subject, the amount of physical exercise, and on the environmental temperature and humidity.[

I basically only drink water, ~1,5-2l/day. Drinking anything else is unnecessary and/or detrimental to your health in most cases (with some exceptions of course, just not the ones people usually drink). Just stick to water.

I also drink alcohol sometimes

Okay serious question to anyone who doesn't drink wator or doesn't like it's taste:

I mean no offence, but do you people understand how basically fucked up that is? Water is the only thing we are supposed to naturally drink and you don't drink it. The only thing.

Is it that you've drank so much soda and other crap that you can't drink anything natural anymore? Water doesn't even taste like anything. Our bodies are made mostly out of water so it is essential that we drink it to keep things running. Water is essential to life. And then people drink tons of tea, coffee and whatnot but those are diuretics meaning they will make your body dehydrate. And if you don't drink plain water to balance things out it's not a very good thing.

It's just that I'd like to hear some good reasons because I can't understand how anyone doesn't drink water..
