how much wator do you drink

Okay serious question to anyone who doesn't drink wator or doesn't like it's taste:

I mean no offence, but do you people understand how basically fucked up that is? Water is the only thing we are supposed to naturally drink and you don't drink it. The only thing.

Is it that you've drank so much soda and other crap that you can't drink anything natural anymore? Water doesn't even taste like anything. Our bodies are made mostly out of water so it is essential that we drink it to keep things running. Water is essential to life. And then people drink tons of tea, coffee and whatnot but those are diuretics meaning they will make your body dehydrate. And if you don't drink plain water to balance things out it's not a very good thing.

It's just that I'd like to hear some good reasons because I can't understand how anyone doesn't drink water..

i think after drinking soda, juices, teas, coffee after so many years, i just need flavor. water has none so it is not appealing to me. i am drinking some right now and i would much rather have a mtn dew. i like the sweet sugary taste. i do have water enhancers like mio that give it flavor, but i'm not using them now.

Water is shit. No nutrients. No vitamins or minerals. Better off drinking literally anything else.

Is he trolling? I swear I read something similar stupid in another thread.

But yeah you need those minerals, so don't drink deionized water...

Have fun with your kidneys when you're middle aged. Seriously man, drink enough water.

I drink about 6-7 glasses a day. I'm kinda addicted to water, tbh.

The 2 liter mark is minimal, which should be enough to replace what you lost if you didn't have a busy day. You have to drink more than 2 liters to prevent kidney stones anyway, so the kidneys work better if you take in more.

In the US, the reference daily intake (RDI) for water is 3.7 litres per day (L/day) for human males older than 18, and 2.7 L/day for human females older than 18[8] including water contained in food, beverages, and drinking water. The amount of water varies with the individual, as it depends on the condition of the subject, the amount of physical exercise, and on the environmental temperature and humidity.[

That´s quite diffrent from The Netherlands then.
Overhere, the RDI is about 2,5 liters from both food and drinks for a male grown up.

Interesting there´s such a big diffrence in recommended amounts.

And at a restaurant (in America), it's free to drink water! That's one of the bigger reasons why I converted to drinking mostly water nowadays.

Being cheap has its beneficial qualities.

The US might be taking into account less proper food habbits and the higher weight average.

But that page is handy, according to it the kidneys can process 0,7 liters of fluid per hour so at 4 liters a day they wouldn't have any problems.

I drink quite a few cups of wator a day when I am at work. The office provides coffee, soda, and some herbal teas, but I stick with wator and the occasional green tea. Can't stand coffee, and rarely tolerate soda.

between 3-5 l mineral water*, depends on what I do the entire day.

and what kind of glasses you guys use that you think 6 is much? I drink that in an hour.

GAF only hates everything.

*plus milk, tea and coffee.

Indeed, one could even pump it up to 10 liters or so i guess :p. How come you understand dutch? Are the magics of google translate at work?

I usually drink half a liter bottles at night, but it comes out immediately after a min or 15

damn you people are so thirsty. do you actually drink that much because you want to or what?

It's a good idea to drink that much. I just like having some water with me all the time. I tend to sweat a lot.

This isn't true. Water does have a taste to it, just like anything else. It's not an especially strong or lasting taste, but it does have it. Slightly metallic, as I recall (moreso if it came from a can or a tap with poor filtration). I've found the taste is more noticeable at temperatures closer to but not exceeding room temperature, where it's kind of off-putting, as opposed to closer to the temperature you'd get from keeping a bottle of the stuff in a fridge for a while, where it's actually quite nice.

Lolol at this thread. Good God, you guys are so brutal. Wator world we live in, no one is safe from GAF. Never change my besties.

Whenever I'm thirsty, so not that much I guess. I'm pretty sure studies have shown that you ingest almost enough liquid a day just by eating food, and I don't think anyone has proven there's any actual benefit (beyond placebo) of drinking excessive amounts of water..
Yep, but it's definitely beneficial to have water as your main beverage as opposed to sodas, fruit juices etc. The amount of water some people drink here is definitely excessive to a degree, even if there's no strong negative effect other then having to go the toilet several times throughout the day.:p

I always have a 2L bottle of water (well, apple squash, but it's about a 1:10 ratio of squash to water) with me when I'm indoors which I refill at least once a day. In a two hour work shift I go through a 1.5L bottle of flavoured water. But I sweat, so I need to.

As soon as I entered college and became cheap I stopped ordering drinks and only getting water when I go out. Best decision I ever made

Probably drink about 3L a day

I pretty much drink water constantly all day. I just keep a bottle sitting near me at all times. I used to drink way too much soda but I haven't had any in probably over 10 years now. The idea of drinking soda is just kind of disgusting to me at this point. I drink a lot of green tea too, and juice occasionally
