DLSS won't exactly be in the consoles, but I'm sure both will make use of some sort of machine learning Super sampling, the generic version. XSX has support for i4 and i8 math to accelerate ml but I'm not sure how much of an advantage that really gives.

Could DLSS 2.0 (or the AMD equivilant) be something they add in mid-gen "Pro models" or would that have to wait until next-next-gen?

Im starting to think Lockhart has been scrapped and there going all in on xsx.
I think this because despite being very powerful, they did make some choices to keep price lower, e.g no optical port, only 16gb of ram.

Fuck I hope so because having a weak ass console would just gimp the entire generation for 7-10 years, and I think this console generation might be 10 years long because chips are at 7nm and they really can't go much further and it's taking them much longer to go further now. Whatever they could pull off on the Xbox series x they would have to scale down in order to be playable on the hypothetical Xbox series s.

There won't be a Series S, that's kind of the point.

How do you know there won't be a series s?
