Looking to extract some sound effects from movie DVDs.

Any programs that do this? Preferably any free ones?

Try DVD Decrypter to rip the audio streams and BeSweet to convert them into an editable format.

Actually, there's a program I used called DVD Audio Ripper. I bought a concert DVD and it was able to just yank the music out and MP3 it on the spot.

I would like to know this as well. I just got the Roots Live DVD and the accompanying CD is horrible.
