The physical/magical situation is so weird in these games. Vert is the only main character with Magic and she's half physical anyway (despite her mostly equal stats, magic is almost always more effective due to lower mdef on most enemies), and only the twins are reliable magic casters present in most games. There's also Plutia (a rare inclusion), Histoire (equally rare) and the occasional Maker (who are too weak to be worth using strategically speaking). They could solve some problems by keeping Histoire as a frequent magic user and throwing a bone to some other people with Magic attacks (they may have done this in Victory, I can't easily tell magic/physical so I have'nt checked if some of the new skills are magic)
I'm disappointed they never implemented an FFX Sensor style ability. It's one of the cool things that Omega Quintet did (you can see enemy stats and even status resistances without wasting a turn). The Scan item in victory 2 isn't quite enough, as a result elemental effectiveness feels basically random.
Speaking of magic users, I'm not sure what they're thinking with Rom/Ram. They really should have like, made them one character gameplay-wise or something. In Victory 2 Ram is literally just a Rom clone with less skills. I don't think she even has any different skills, just less of them. At least her EXE move is unique now.
Still disagree about Noire being weaker than any non-Vert, universally relevant character but it's obvious that's going nowhere.
The PSO2 Neptunia VS Sega scratch is a disappointment, they're only doing stuff based on IF, Uzume and Purple Heart. It looks like what we're getting:
What an odd and annoying selection. I get they're promoting sega vs, Victory 2 and neptunia in general respectively with those three, but as a fan of the series that is a random as shit selection. The 4 main characters should really be bare minimum. Or IF/Neptune/Compa if they're going to do Planeptune girls.
People's hates are really weird. The weirdest thing is liking Uni but hating Noire IMO. They are basically the same character except one is younger and has crippling confidence issues. I don't dislike Uni but she's Noire with a gun and Teen Problems.
Come to think of it, all the sisters kind of have too many sister issues. I like to think if Vert had a little sister she'd be the only one not constantly neglecting her sister.
Don't think we really need to keep talking about it though. Talk about what you love not what you hate unless you have constructive criticism. It's kind of annoying that Noire haters love to be extremely loud about it while I'm never annoyed by fans of the (few) characters I don't especially like.
Uni > Noire
Noire's shitck gets tiresome considering I'm not much of a fan of tsunderes.
Uni is textbook tsundere
