Hyrule Warriors JP Twitter Teases New Character Reveal This Week

The hint is obviously Fi. I can just imagine her special moves,
Giving Hints to monsters to make them die from boredom
Never stop talking to make their heads explode
And her rarest and most effective special are when the GamePad battery reaches %2


Seriously though, when are we getting another male charecrer (Tingle doesn't count) this is turning to a Harem.
 
It's funny, I never even thought of Fi because she doesn't have arms, but I can totally see her conjuring up a whirlwind of blades and other crazy stuff.

They also said a few days ago that they add Agitha because 95% of the staff like her. So those % comments doesn't mean to hint Fi.
 
It's Fi. Maybe they will give her a personality this time. It's a shame Fi was such a bore. Her design is actually really cool. Who thought it was a good idea to go from Midna to Fi?

To be fair, Fi is not 'explicitly' female,
just like how Gihrahim is not explicitly male.

Saying they picked a character because 95% of the staff liked her is different from saying there is a 98% chance they will show a new character. The 95% comment is a real estimate of the amount of staff that wanted the character. 98% is an extremely oddly specific non-certain estimate for something that is a yes or no question that they already know the answer to. Saying that makes absolutely no sense unless it's a hint.

Fi: "Her name is Impa, and she is a calm and collected individual. This female warrior was tasked by the goddess with the mission of protecting Zelda. She is mildly injured. there is a 98% probability that she sustained an injury from Ghirahim, who passed through here recently."

Nearly every Zelda game since Ocarina of Time has had a harem.
The only difference here is you can now play as the them.
Game probably has multiple endings: Each girl gets their own ending with Link.

For the final battle, Demise possesses Ganondorf who puts on Majora's Mask and summons Vaati's monster form.

In response, Link and Zelda and all of the others each don a Fierce Deity's mask and form a Super Sentai-style fighting squad decked out in black and silver.

In concept art, yeah, but there are scenes in the game where she clearly shows what's under those flaps and her arms are invisible.

She doesn't need arms. She's a magical being who can easily fight by levitating shit or conjuring up magical constructs or whatever.

I just didn't consider her at first, because I tend to picture more traditional-looking fighters first. But Fi would indeed be a great choice.

Here's hoping she's unveiled this week!

You need to slow down with the mayo, man.
 
I like Fi's design and shtick. It's just I felt she was handled poorly in Skyward Sword. I never felt she grew less robotic as the journey continued so her ending had no payoff for me. I actually winced at that part. Luckily the scene after that was the most emotional in all of Zelda for me.

If they had just added some scenes of her acting more human-like her narrative could have been salvageable.

As for her probable selection II'll be passed off if she got in instead of Ghirahim. I mean the only thing she did other than be a sword was sing and dance. She has no arms. I'm guessing she'll use summoned swords but Impa already does that. Groose has better moveset possibilities that doesn't involve inventing them.
 
If Hyrule Warriors can make me love Fi, it will have done the impossible.

They've done a pretty good job at creating interesting and unique movesets for the reveals so far, so I'm interested to see what they come up with.

Hero's Shade would be a pretty awesome "Lu Bu/That One Guy" for this game. Especially if they really play up who he actually is.

Anyway...didn't really care for SS that much, so the main thing for me would be to see is movesets. Few things would make me care faster than if the movesets are fun!
 
It will probably another female character. Harem Warriors indeed.

If it is a female character, I hope it is Fi. Though she isn't exactly female, but genderless.
 
I can't wait to see Fi ice skating around and fighting like a solo weapon from Soul Eater

98% chance she didn't even need a Meister
