I am pissed that some 3rd party JPN devs are still reluctant to release their RPGs on PC

Times are definitely better now then 10 years ago, but things can still improve. Especially now when PC gaming are soaring on steam. There hasnt been a better time then now to make a quick buck on older RPG releases or new ones.

I am mostly looking at you Square-Enix, then again I wish Sony wasnt cock blocking the major releases like FFXVI.

What games are you missing? Aside from FFXVI, which I guess will end up coming out.

Oh and there's Atlus, yeah. Well hopefully the Persona games are selling well on PC so we get more games from them. SMT V on PC would be very cool, emulation aside.

Sakura Wars and 13 Sentinels still annoy me. I'll sure there is a decent list out there but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Vanillaware games coming out for PC would be the tits. That art at 4K? Give 7 copies for each game thanks.

I mean we still eat them up when they are released years later … so we are the problem.

Square isnt reluctant to release FFXVI on PC?

Sony and Nintendo have always been the spot for this, especially Sony. I'm glad these are coming to PC more but one of the main factors has been the consistency of RPG's on PlayStation consoles. My advice is to be a big boy (or girl) and have at least that+PC to cover all your needs.

It's pretty damn good, what's missing?

Even the Nintendo promoted "time exclusives" end up on Steam now. Wouldn't have thought to see Octopath traveller or Triangle Strategy on Steam if you asked me 5 years ago.

Fuck Sony for FFXVI timed exclusivity. PS5 can't handle the true glory of that game. It demands to be played on PC. Honestly they should release a PS5 pro with FFXVI launch.

Half the Star Ocean games, more then half of the Tales of games. Barely any Dragon Quest releases.

Yes they literly said buy a PS5 for it

Because sales are still niche.

While Steam is missing games other services have, Steam has tons of actual RPGs on it old and new.

Other than console gamers who do both or moved to PC, the audience for Jrpgs on PC isn't big.

Probably more point and clicks sell more.

I'd wager most jrpgs on Steam are there for extra money instead of seriously considering the platform. Which should please fans given how much is on there.
