Yep, it's that time of the year again, moving time. the last move I made was from Fargo, ND to Phoenix and now I'm moving to Tempe. Anyway I consider it a great achievement that I can fit my life into (and my bike onto) my car making moving and life much simpler.

I must say though I almost lost my bike somehwere in Nebraska when I made the long move, luckily one of the 2 straps held so the bike was able to stay on the rack long enough for me to nitice something was up. This was also the first and hopefully only time I slept in my car. I was somewhere in southern CO or Northern New Mexico. It was 3 AM and I had been driving since 7AM the previous day. I just couldn't go on and there was no town to be seen so I pulled off the highway where there were some truckers already parked and spent the night in my car. Good times.

Anyway, I was wondering if any gaffers had any moving tips or amusing moving stories.

Hahaha, I had the same thought when I first moved out. Aside from my bed and couch, I can fit my life into a '92 Volvo Sedan. :lol

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
I'm not sure that the ability to fit your life into a car is a bragging point. I'd dare say it's a little sad. But happy moving nonetheless. Invest in inflatable furniture. It'll save you a ton of future headaches.

I'm about to fit my life into 2 suitcases and a backpack that collectively weigh less than 40 kilos. Of course, before that happens I'm gonna need to sell some stuff...
