To donate money you need to be aware of the thing you're donating toward.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has raised awareness.
It's a good thing.
Part of the reason why I donated $100 instead of £100.
Each ice bucket video is evidence of someone NOT donating. If this were about charity there would be no videos. It's not about charity anymore, sadly. Awareness, maybe.
