I don't like my job(went from doing tech support for a DSL company, to working with Medicare). Anyway, we had friday-monday off for X-mas break. Tuesday morning I awoke as my alarm went off, and just didn't feel like going. One day turned into three as I proceeded to call in "sick" wednesday and today as well.

For the past three days I havn't even left home. I've sat on my ass, watched DVDs, played Videogames, watched TV, listned to msuic, even had a female friend stop by.

I'm watching Office Space right now, a fav movie of mine which I havn't bothered to watch in sometime, and its insane how much I relate to this movie...Coming to work out of dress code and doing pretty much nothing is something I've done alot of over the last few weeks.

I did that once. I had absolutely no intention of quitting or even not going into work that Monday, but I woke up and just thought: "why should I? I'll call in sick". So I did and it was awesome and then the next day I again had every intention of going, until I woke up and remembered that great feeling of going back to sleep rather than heading out into the cold to a job I didn't like.

Eventually I decided I had plenty of money to tide me over until I found another equally rubbish job and just quit.

It sounds like you hate your job and maybe even getting depress. I had this a while ago. Best thing to do is find a new JOB, in fact, start working with a blue color job. Doesn't pay as much, but it will give you a little more satisfaction while you look for a job you want. This might be stepping over the line, but have you spoken to the Big Guy?

You think that's bad? I've had this week off and have done jack shit. I had a little cold in the making since saturday and felt like shit yesterday. I just stayed in all day and ended up playing Killer 7, surfing the net, masturbating and cooking. Nothing productive at all. At night, when I went to bed, I got the shocking revelation that I did not speak to a single person the whole entire day, not even on MSN or anything (unless you count GAF replies). Now that's sad. I felt better today so I made up for it and spent a good chunk of the day outdoors.

I skipped 3 days in a row too back in September. Trust me, when you see your next paycheque, you're going to wish you hadn't done that. :lol

While losing pay sucks, not going to work and having to deal with all the bullshit IS nice, too. Sadly, though, money does trump all.

You wanna hear something sadder? I went to work all day yesterday and had about the same amount of human interaction as you.
