I don't believe in U.S. Technic Beat!!

So I went on a holiday-cash fueled rampage through over half-a-dozen Dallas-area electronics/game stores this morning, picking up great values like Gradius V, the U.S. Taiko set, budget PC games AND MORE. However, no store I visited had a copy of U.S. Technic Beat. Most didn't even have it in the computer. Most of these places had Gungrave: Overdose, so I know they're reached by Mastiff's distribution ... guy.

WHERE CAN I BUY U.S. TECHNIC BEAT?

Please tell me a brick-and-mortar store where you've found it or an online retailer who has it in stock and can ship it to me before I leave these vaunted shores once more for JA-PAN. Thank you kindly.

I got my copy on Amazon IIRC.

Here's an idle comment. I plugged it in last night for the first time, and the game wished me a merry Christmas. Cute.

I saw it in a Gamestop or EB Games right down at the local mall... I don't think it's gonna be THAT hard to find... Girlfriend was actually the one who picked up the box to look at, is this game even worth it if you detest music games (like me)?

I've seen it at one place. The EBgames at Highland Mall in Austin, TX has 1 copy. I better pick it up soon, possibly tomorrow.

Gamefly has copies listed for sale at $17 I believe...around $21 with tax and shiz.

Since I doubt anyone's rented this game, you can pretty much expect it nice and shiny.

Technic Beat

I'm inclined to agree with those who suggested GameStop, as that's where I secured my copy. All of the EB stores locally just gave me blank stares when I mentioned this game.

I totally suck at it, but the Namco music is pretty damned cool. I just wish that the Splatterhouse stage wasn't un-freaking-possible.

I bought one for a friend for Christmas used at GameStop for about $17 after the discount card. They also have new copies in stock here as well. I flubbed up on the gift aspect of it though as I forgot that my friend sold his PS2 a while ago, so I am left holding the bag so to speak.

I played the game a little bit though and think it's pretty choice (but if you want to trade for it, slip me an offer or something...I might bite :))

I've been broke for months and I just picked up my copy finally today :) Got the last one (apparently) at the ebgames in Columbia, MD.

I'm coming back for revenge on that Splatterhouse mix!

They had a few at both the Circuit City and GameStop here I think, I'm just fucking amazed I was able to find an in-store copy on the Druaga deal @ CC.

I nabbed mine on ebay for the buy it now price of $15. There was about 4 copies listed at the time.

Almost every EBgames/Gamestop in my area has this game in stock. I went out to buy it after reading this thread, but instead found a copy of Rez at Gamestop....so I bought that instead. :p

you found the original rez, right? that re-issue didn't come out, did it?

Yes, it's the original. I had planned on waiting for the re-issue instead of paying Ebay prices, but alas, the re-issue never came out.
