Why would peter pan turn down sex with Julia Roberts to save the kids who hate him and the wife that doesnt care anymore.

then he makes the fat kid the new peter pan? wtf, he has the LEAST chance of flying.

I think that Peter was just trying to make sure that he was the only legendary Peter Pan. Therefore, he chose the fat kid in order to sabotage the group.

Am I the only one who liked Hook as a kid? I can't watch it now and hate it just for the nostalgia factor.

If you don't like Hook, you don't like America. Hook > life itself. Well, at least it's better than all the other lame-ass Peter Pan movies out there IMO. PEACE.

I liked Hook, even if it was a bastard offspring that probably shouldn't have happened.

Last December's Peter Pan movie was freakin' awesome, however.

Hook was awesome. I saw the movie, then I bought the book and then I saw the movie again. It's one of the few movies I have seen twice on the cinema.
Classic.

It's all about John William's enchanting score. It's a pure kids movie which I adored at the right age but that score gives me those swashbuckling synapse triggers. Very good, yes.

Oh, and Temple of Doom is the lesser Spielberg film. Capshaw's character must have provided the inspiration for Jar Jar Binks. Speilberg fails to restrain his future wife from becoming very annoying.

I don't like shit myself, and that's all Hook looked like to me. Disney's version was more then good enough. Plus their Tinkerbelle looked hotter. :lol

I really enjoyed Hook whe iw as akid. Fox's peterpan and the pirates was the greatest peterpan thing i ever ever seen tho.

I always hated the animated disney movie.

If I hadn't seen it as a kid, I'd probably hate it as well. Hell, I haven't watched it in over a decade anyhow. But I'll always like Disney's version of Captain Hook...he cracked me up.

Kill the lawyer!!!

If I recall correct it's also the only movie I've seen in the theater more than once.

I love how they scream "Kill the lawyer!" :lol

Like I said; this movie had so many classic moments and quotes. Whoever wrote the script was a pure genius. :D

I still think the first 2/3rds of the movie is wonderful and enchanting and enjoyable. Perfect kids movie adventure, with an awesome fantasy fluff feel.

But something goes seriously wrong at the end of the movie, just admit it guys. Pirates being stomped on by kids with paintballs is fucking BULLSHIT! The movie was creepy and dark enough to keep me scared as a kid, but that all goes to hell when Fatty McFatCheeks rolls up in to a ball and enjoys a game of Pirate Bowling. It seemed lame when I was a kid, and it's lamer now.

Anyways, 8/10. The ending just needs help...
