I give up. I find my cousin more sexually attractive than my GF and she dumps me?

I don't even know why the fuck the OP is messing around on some cousin bullshit. Like yeah my cousin's hot but my sister's hotter. If we gonna incest, let's motherfucking incest.

Let's be honest, OP, you were asking for that one.

I think we're at the tipping point with relationship threads where 9 times out of 10 it's really no surprise that the OP's get dumped.

11 pages in and we still don't seem to have an explanation for why OP had to convince his cousin to become FB friends?!

It is strange. So he was drunk and for some reason decided to approach her for advice, even though they are not friends on Facebook, from which I'm guessing they do not talk regularly and have not talked for some considerable time. Why did he need her to become a Facebook friend, to the point that he had to list reasons which ultimately came across as heavy flirting?

If you combine how weird this behaviour is with the general controlling nature of the GF (not allowed to have a lock screen on the phone? Instant alarm bell), there's no way there was a future here.

It's painfully obvious. His "old jokes" weren't really welcome, and he never got the hint. Having to beg a family member to be a Facebook friend means something is seriously wrong

Oh boi. What were you thinking?

And why did she check out the text messages on your phone? And she was chatting with your cousin too?

Oh boi. What a situation.

Wait a minute we talkin first blood cousin or my grandma's second sister's daughter's fourth niece cousin?

It won't make it right, but it'll make it slightly less worse when you think about it.

Why would you say to your cousin that she is more attractive than your girlfriend? Is she for real, is this what you are actually thinking, but kinda wrapping it as a joke?

She did the right thing, you were emotionally cheating on her which is one of the worst things you can do to a girl.

I'm guessing this is OP and his ex summed up:

You and your cousin really can't have been that close if you were having to convince her to friend you on Facebook.
Yep. He's probably that creepy cousin that she decided to stay away from because of the exact same comments you did here. You also said she had a conversation with your ex. That probably sealed it.

You started the relationship out by treating her bad so you were on a short leash. Then you do...this. She was right to dump you.

That said, I think you actually dodged a bullet. She sounds crazy insecure and controlling. And moving in together after 3 months and talking marriage/plans after knowing eachother 8 months.. way too soon dude.

and at the end I said

" And also, you are sexually more attractive than her, LOL"

...

I want to know if it was justified for her to breakup over that comment.

Are you dense? You don't get to explain that away as "just a joke". That's an incredibly disrespectful thing to say about your girlfriend in any context.

Your girlfriend shouldn't have been snooping on your phone, and that's grounds for you to end things with her, but that doesn't excuse what you did. She's absolutely justified in breaking up with you.

Take solace in the fact you're both better off without each other.

Here's the joke. It's stupid, you will all prob say I deserve the breakup but i'll be honest. It's not even a joke really but this is what I said.

She asked me why should she friend me on FB. I listed reasons like I think she is smart, ect

and at the end I said

" And also, you are sexually more attractive than her, LOL"

Look, if I deserved the breakup over that comment. That obviously was stupid, inappropriate go ahead and tear me apart. I want to know if it was justified for her to breakup over that comment.

To be 100% clear nothing ever happened between me and my cousin in any sexual mamer

Oh god.

Oh gawd.

I missed the part about not being allowed to have a lock screen on his phone.

She's crazy.

You're better off without her, I can assure you. This doesn't mean you should pursue your cousin though.

why are y'all lusting after your relatives?

OP whispered "shoot for the Moon because even if you miss you'll be amongst the stars!" before he sent that message to his cousin. His girlfriend said he was a stoner but OP is much bolder. Too bold smh.

"Shoot for the moon because even if you miss you might land on your cousin."
