Taking the word of Al Pacino and Jack Nicholson, both said they play the exact character in every movie as well, just turns the volume up and down for the situation. Most actors do the same thing.

I don't see the reason for the hate. She's type-cast because of her personality. Either watch her movies or not. Just be sure what to expect before you do. Same with Vin Diesel.
