I live in DC. My son is across the bridge in Arlington, just minutes away from the Pentagon. I drive over 395 daily, right by the Pentagon. I've seen the aftermath with my own eyes and there's no way a 7 series plane or anything near that size could've done that damage.

I find it really odd that no one observed sh!t either as it's a major highway that surrounds the Pentagon (395).

On top of all that, the media never talks about the Pentagon. To them, 9/11 = WTC and that's it.

Fuck this, I'm moving.

If one were to believe it was either not that plane or not a plane at all it is not hard to imagine the other plane either being shot down or on the ground somewhere like the fourth plane.

You could understand why they would be hesitent to claim they shot one down if they had, but wreckage of this scenario's anaccounted for plane would be difficult to keep from the media.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to give any credibility to a shockwave flash movie with heavy metal music, and a quote by a "Skarlet". If you want to be taken seriously, funky music and animations aren't the way to do it.

The DOT cameras they talk about take pictures every 3 seconds -- they don't continuously film. If an aircraft was flying by at 530MPH it'd be luck to get even a blurry shot of the plane coming in. Heck, the security camera at the Pentagon didn't get a clear shot taking pictures one second apart.

I could go on & on, but the biggest flaw with all these conspiracy theories is, if Flight 77 didn't hit the Pentagon, WHERE IS IT and WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PASSENGERS?

The Pentagon has some shitty ass cameras then... I want my tax dollar spent on better equipment then.

As for the plane, they could tell us anything and we'd believe it. Was there even a flight 77?

Where are the families for those that were on board? Why are there no legal after effects in relation to the passengers on the supposed flight that hit the Pentagon.

Why has the US Government done such a sh!tty job elaborating on said event? Do people assume that because it's the Pentagon, it shouldn't be discussed?

I was on the Metro at that time, I surfaced in downtown DC at like 9AM, they evacuated me from the building I was in (District Court) because of a "bomb threat." I soon learned from people out on the street that a plane had hit the Pentagon. I was back on a Metrobus the next day, and I didn't see any plane wreckage, so either they're very fast at clean-up or there wasn't much/any wreckage at all. Also, 395 at 8:38 in the morning? FUCKING PACKED WITH CARS. Hell, even until 9:30 it's got significant traffic. A Boeing 757 dropping that low to hit the Pentagon? There had to be some accidents from shocked drivers (not to mention the turbulence from a plane flying that low.

The only people quialified enough to even type 'DID' in italicized bold font was probably on that plane. No one here can say for certain either. It's all about what you choose to believe.

Given the speed of the impact and the ensuing heat from the fire(if the WTC is an accurate barometer), it's likely that parts of the plane were simply incinerated to the point of being ash, or close-to-ash. That's what happened in New York.

I want everyone to bear in mind that the conspiracy theories around the ultimate events of 9/11 are one nut short of an institution, and mildly insulting. To even suggest that the government would engineer something to make it look like the Pentagon was hit by a plane when it wasn't is a massive kick to the nuts of everyone who was related to the people on board, and the people inside the building who died. The plane's destruction, and these people being dead is all the proof you need that this wasn't some elaborate hoax. The onus is on the conspiracy mongers to prove otherwise, and the lack of anything more "substantial" than "Where's the plane?" and "Where are the passengers now?" does not magically support your argument; if anything, it completely obliterates it.

If you'd like to know why the Pentagon didn't suffer any MAJOR damage from an impact like that, you don't have to look any further than the elementary fact that the place is built like a fort, literally. It's all reinforced steel and concrete. The WTC towers were pieces of cardboard, relatively speaking.

I almost wish one of the posters here had lost a relative on that plane, just so they'd really take it to people who think this wasn't what happened, and that these are made up families.

No one ever asks about evidence from the planes that hit the WTC. There wasn't much debris left from them either, was there? So hey, where's the swf animation for that conspiracy? Pfft, no planes hit the WTC! There's no evidence! All the footage was manufactured and all those people crying were actors! :p
