What a phenominal movie, I had high hopes since it's directed by the About a Boy director. I just finished watching it, I'd recommend anyone to see that movie!

Anyone else love this film?

PS. Scarlett Johanson is unreal!

Great film. Entertaining, funny, well-acted, kind of sappy. Thumbs up.

edit: About the soundtrack... what is the name of that song they played towards the end... the one they play in the trailer as well.

I liked the movie too. Scarlett Johanson didn't really do anything for me. She is just so plain, and she's slutty in the movie. Bleh.

LIAR and a FELON
I'm in the UK so I have quite a wait until I see it.

The trailer looks really good, especially like the cast. And About A Boy was a pleasant suprise which I expected nothing from.

Topher Grace is so lame, but these glowing reviews make it sound so good. Is it theatre good, or wait to rent good?

i know that the song they play when the credits are going is an iron and wine song called "trapeze swinger," which is previously unreleased but will be on the soundtrack (of course).

i thought the movie was OK...and tried a bit hard at times. some issues i had with it (spoilers)

1) dennis quaid - same pained expression throughout the entire movie.
2) topher hitting it on the first date. WHAT?

however, i do like the ending a lot. the filmmakers were brave and didn't go with the typical hollywood bullshit.

I haven't seen it yet, but the two songs from the trailer are "40 ft" by Franz Ferdinand and "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel.

EDIT: After watching the trailer again, I realize there's a third song in the middle, which I don't know.

All the songs from the trailer have been named.

Here's the order they appear:
Franz Ferdinand - "40 ft"
David Byrne - "Glass, Concrete & Stone"
Peter Gabriel - "Solsbury Hill"

Edit: damn ye, you figured it out before my post.
