I'm not being disingenuous. It's creepy. The talk of meddling in your own affairs is more satire than anything. You wouldn't like it if that happened, so you shouldn't do it to others.
These are the facts.
1. You spy on your neighbors.
2. You take pictures of them without their knowledge.
3. You post pictures of people and license plates online for thousands to see when the actual photographic 'evidence' is absolutely irrelevant to the advice you seek.
4. You have no indisputable evidence that there is an affair taking place.
I don't think there needs to be some universal courtesy when confronted with this kind of creepiness. It's creepy that you do it, and it's unethical to transfer it online.
Lesson learned? We'll see.
