I think creepily stalking neighbors, taking pictures of people secretly and posting them online along with scandalous allegations is reprehensible, and should be punished. If you can't see that it's wrong, maybe some trouble will convince you.

But it's not illegal. Take your own advice and mind your own business. I've learned a lot of about the morality of what I've done in this thread and it's swayed my opinion on the matter. As of now I'm just trying to figure out if what I've done is legal or not. It appears it is legal.

If you are, consider it lesson learned. If not, I've still taken away a new view of morality from this thread. When you're so far in the minority you have to re-examine your stance.

I learn my lesson quickly because I'm willing to face the fact that I'm in the minority on an issue. When I posted this I wasn't expecting this kind of reponse, but I got it and I have to learn from it. I'm always open to critique.

If the statements you are making turn out to be false, then that's a tort entailing defamation of character and libel. I'm not meaning to scare you, but I think that you need to better secure the anonymity of the person(s) involved in your stories here. Also, I don't think you should parade this assumptive knowledge you have to your neighbors, because you could be accused of blackmail or something worse.

Nosy neighbors may be creepy but they are the kind of people who end up protecting your house from things like burglary when you're away. I don't find Oli' voyeurism creepy so much as I do humorously endearing. :lol

did you miss the earlier posts? You can't take pictures of an individual and publish them (in case you aren't aware, posting them online constitutes publishing) and show their face. You either have to blur it or get their permission.
