OK, I want to start from scratch (I bought my new computer within the last month, so I won't be missing much).

I did it before, and when I saw my desktop, I still had some icons from before.

Is this because of the "recovery partition?" Because if it is, I want to delete it so my computer is back at SQUARE FREAKIN ONE.

I just did this and it feels great.
I backed up 2 years of pictures and important files and wiped EVERYTHING out from the BIOS. Re-installed windows from disc, downloaded updates, and re-downloaded the latest players.

You shouldn't see anything left if you use the Windows CD to delete your HD partition and then establish a new one (using normal format, not quickspeed) before reinstalling Windows.

Sorry...N/M.

I'm seeing a part of the computer's instruction manual that I haven't seen before. :)

Apparently, there was "Standard Recovery," and "FULL SYSTEM Recovery." Thanx for the help, though.
