The front page redesign that's happening soon should bring in enough new revenue that it shouldn't be a problem, hopefully, since that will be monetized a little more robustly (but just the front page, the rest of the site is staying the same ad-wise). It's all good, don't worry about it. Sentiment's appreciated though.
maybe you should make a kickstarter to make it ad free for a year.

Perhaps I'm just not logging onto GAF at the times its down, but it seems like I'm looking at GAF almost every hour of the day and I don't recall anything weird going on. *shrug*
If you got a handful guys to un-perm themselves at that price the server upgrade would pay for itself! =V

It's been better for me recently, this afternoon (BST) was probably the first time I've been unable to browse in a week or so - and that's on laptop and mobile usage.
there was a bad period a few weeks back though, I thought HL3 had been unveiled or something
but yay at new servers
If alot of us work together Zombie Costanza could rule this place for like a week.

How do server services work? You find a facility with the one you want and just pay for it, or you buy your own system and rent a 10x10 space in some cooling facility?
