PC games are usually released almost simultaneouslyAlso, Europe gets everything late.

It's just getting shorter and shorter from the looks of it. That said, i'm more than happy for them to delay Oblivion to get any bugs or issues sorted out. But buying it on PC....it doesn't really matter since they will no doubt release many patches for it anyway.

I'd be more pissed if they released it at 360 launch in a buggy state. I'd rather it come later and polished. If it's delayed and still buggy, then I will hunt down and torture the employees of Bethesda.

Future said:This is exactly what happened with Morrowind. Delayed a bunch of times and still released as a buggy mess that was basically unfinishable at least on my machine. I'm all for them taking time to iron out bugs, but if that is truly the reason for the delay, then I'm not that confident that they'll even succeed in fixing everything.
Definately going to wait a month post-release to see some long term impressions first. I put many hours in Morrowind and they all went to waste when I couldn't play for more than ten minutes without a crash

eso76 said:Yup, xbox version. And my brother too played the hell out of it, finished it twice, played through goty edition...And we sure did a lot of non-standard things in the game.
never encountered bugs; not major ones definately, of course i am not counting small things like the occasional standard monster getting stuck somewhere or some spell passing through a wall (it happened once). This is not the kind of bug that ruins the experience for me.
Wait, actually the game did freeze once or twice on my brother, but it happens all the time with his xbox retard dvd rom edition
