If Black Women Said The Stuff White Men Say

Surface of Me

I'm not an NPC. And neither are we.
Considering I've had black girls say those and very similar things to me, I dont see the point of this "parody".

It's a reversal video making fun of racial fetishism that black girls and guys (and honestly several races) experience, usually from Caucasians. Where the fact that the person is "exotic" is the major factor of why they find the person intriguing from a relationship standpoint. Some of the usual rhetoric is stuff like: "I've got jungle fever", "You know I don't usually go for black girls but you're different. You're not 'black black', you know?", "Best sex I ever had was with a black girl", etc.

I don't see the problem with the last one.

I've had more than a few black women be racially blunt around me, but I understand the point the video is making. Being a white male, not too many things can offend me.

Equal to stereotype of "blacks being fantastic lovers" or something to that nature. In my personal experience, I've had non-black girls want to see if it was true as if it was some dare from their sorority during pledge week or some shit.

Well when you are telling that to the black girl you are dating as the situation in the video parodies, then it comes across as saying being black is the main factor for the good sex. Otherwise why would you ever share that the best sex you've had was with another person, who just happened to be black too?

Yes. Every single comment in that video has been made to both of my sisters throughout their entire lives. And the instant new people I meet start to feel comfortable around me, comments like these start to trickle out.

"So I've always wondered......"

"So, can I ask....."

"So, don't be offended, but....."

Multiple white girls I've dated have said exact quotes from that video:

"So, do you think black girls would be mad at you for dating me?"

"Usually when I date black guys, they're not REAL black guys, they're clean, like not ghetto black, you know?"

And in my experience, and the experiences of people I know/family, it is by and large a white thing to ask these questions. Other races just don't seem to give a fuck.

I've experienced the exact same things.

But I didn't experience them until I came back to the States after being overseas for over a decade.

A black girl once tried to chat me up in a club. She said “you’re cute, do you come in black?”
I said no.
She said “do you want to?”

Heh. I cant top that, but at an old job I had, there were two black ladies (Kris, and Jackie) who ran a YMCA daycare. Jackie, upon seeing me for the first time, says, "Excuse me. You ever get jungle fever?" She's got a pretty salacious smile as she says this. Kris starts laughing tells me to get out before she really gets started. I decided to make my exit, to which the large and in charge Jackie blocks and continues, "Don't tell me you ain't NEVAH wondered what it's like to be with a STRONG black woman?"

At this point, I'm reacting exactly as Jackie wanted (embarrassment shows on whites better;), and only able to utter a few "uh, uh" before they both start cracking up and let me through.

Kris ended up following me and warns me that even though Jackie was having a good time, she really was curious about making some tiger woods babies.

..

I quit a few weeks later.

That's a silly thing to say. That's like watching a video explaining anything and asking why it exists because you in particular already knew it.

I had a black manager at the restaurant I worked at in high school who was overly flirty with my friend and I even though we were 16 and 17 and she was like 24.

Anyway, shortly after Thanksgiving she says to us, "So are either of you still craving dark meat?"

It makes the "If" not accurate. He's saying black women do say those things to white guys.. so the parody is failing a bit as it's not recognizing reality.

I've heard all of these, but the "cracker" part where she lowers her voice is so fucking common. I've seen way too many white people feel like it's okay to just drop the n-word around black friends, like they've really wanted to their whole life, and now here's a person comfortable enough with them to "let" them do it. It's pretty gross.

I was lit last weekend and partying at a club with some randoms. It's this white dude's birthday. I wish him a happy birthday and he says "thanks my nigga." He goes on to justify it talking about he should be able to say the word because we're all cool and hanging out or whatever. So I'm like "I'm too drunk and having too much fun to deal with this shit right now; I'm going to forget you said that," and went back to the circle of friends I came there with.

It really is on the tip of some people's tongues at all times. It's almost amusing.

It is Bun Bun. They always do this to ignore the problem.

It's kinda like reverse racism asspull levels.

"Yeah well a black girl said that to me too" somehow makes a group's experience invalid. It's really dumb.

Is it really wrong to simply be referencing someone else's use of the word though? Talking about how someone else said nigger doesn't make you racist.

You can reference it without saying it. I've never said the word, I've always said n-word. Or when rapping or karaokeing along to something, I always use something like "I shouldn't say this word" in the place of it. It gets a laugh.

What does her skin color have to do with how good the sex is?

OH RIGHT. NOTHING.

^- Okay. Thank you two posters for informing us about your experiences with black women. This definitely means that it's now okay to fetishize and alienate an entire race of people. DEFINITELY.

Why would you two these two stories? What's the point? Is it to somehow point out that it's okay, because it's been done to you?

... wow. Props for you for walking away.

God damn some of you are tightly wound. Someone shared a story, I shared mine. I'm not "fetishizing" anything or anyone, and I sure would never advocate it. You certainly are dramatic in the worst possible way.

Look at dat bunny, hoppin to conclusions.

I wasn't trying to prove anything or make any sort of point with that story. I was merely telling it, just as the guy I quoted and the guy that he quoted did.

Black and white people shouldn't use the n-word. Otherwise it sends false messages.

Dont group me in with anyone. I'm not "they", just like "they" aren't me. I simply shared a story after I saw someone else's funny club experience. You just chose to connect dots that weren't there.

Quote me. I didn't say infer. I said quote me where I said I ever advocated anything like that.

Your experiences were creepy and I imagine it made you very uncomfortable, but this is a consistent issue black people face. It would be nice to have one thread not be derailed again because "it's happened to me too" posts come flooding in.

Edit: Mixolydian, I have every right to clarify something with another poster. If I wanted to talk about you, I would have done it, just like I have now. Back off.

Well excuse me for sharing an amusing experience I had in an apparently super serious thread about a fucking Buzzfeed video

That was never my intent. Look at my post history. I'm no damned racist and I hate racism. My son is mixed, and I grew up in a white (gasp) family that didnt put up with that shit.
