DC comics participated in the Love is Love comics anthology and I expected a big reaction from conservative groups but it ended up selling out and being a big success.

As we all know, Overwatch is an incredibly inclusive game with a unique diverse cast. With a confirmed LGBT+ character within the ranks of Overwatch, I think it was a nice idea to consider incorporating a Pride Event for Pride Month in June into the game, similar to Summer, Halloween, Christmas and Chinese New Year events.

Most of my thoughts for a Pride Event come from my interpretation of our LGBT Icons and Pride itself, the skins could just be inspired from these looks so apologies if people don't agree or think something doesn't fit. I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions too.

An Emily Skin
So my thoughts on this come from the obvious Christmas comic that displayed Tracer's relationship. Having Emily referenced in the game would make too much sense for a Pride Month and I think a cute costume swap for Tracer would fit! Tracer in her jumper and with her green scarf on.

Cyndi Lauper's Pride Dress
The rainbow flag has to be somewhere, so why not Cyndi Laupers 2006 pride dress? I struggled to think of who to pick for this costume so I settled on Widowmaker as she wears tight clothes anyway, it would also be nice to see her as a blond!

Rupaul Glamazon
Probably the most famous drag queen in her Glamazonian attire that just makes perfect sense for Mercy. I mean, there is even a staff!

Elton John Polka Dot Suit
It's campy and its pink. And it's Elton John. Though it reminds me of Mr. Blobby. A suit would be nice to see in the game though! So why not a pink and yellow one? I think this would probably fit Soldier 76 the most!

Culture Club Karma Chameleon
Boy George was rather androgynous in the 80's and his Karma Chameleon song is probably Culture Clubs most famous song, so I think a costume inspired by that with the hair would be very cool. Lucio would probably be my pick for this one.

Lady Gaga Grammys 2010
Lady Gaga is known for her strange looks but I feel like this one from the Grammys in 2010 fits the Overwatch theme and personally I'd love to see Pharah sport this.

Madonna
This was so hard to pick because Madonna has so many looks. But I picked The Virgin Tour look. It's beautiful. The blazer is great and I think that it would go well with Sombra. She would look adorable.

Dorothy
With Judy Garland's popularity in the LGBT community and the popularity of Wizard of Oz itself I think a Dorothy skin would be great. It would be lovely to see D.va outside of a skintight outfit so I propose she gets the skin with a customised meka that utilises visuals from the four Scarecrow, Tin man, Lion and Witch.

I know people don't like NO H8, but I liked their photoshoots, I thought they were strong.
So a taped mouth shut.

The maps could be Hollywood and Dorado – decorated with Pride flags and decorations all over both city's. Payloads would be a Pride Float.

I had a lot of trouble coming up with an idea for the actual game mode for the event.

My first thoughts was escorting Emily through a map as a defender but an attacker has to kill her. I didn't wanna really feel like that was a great idea and felt like I was literally objectifying her though.

Instead I came up with a 3v3 mode of Attacker characters on Hollywood or Dorado.
The Defending team has to get their pride float to the other side of the map (like the payload), however the Attacking team's objective is to destroy the pride float instead of stopping it. It could have 5 sections with an individual life bar for each section. Defending team get a head start instead.

This was just a fun thing I threw together based on my thoughts recently about how awesome it was that Blizzard revealed Tracer to be LGBT+ and if they ever considered an LGBT+ Month event what it could be like.

What're peoples thoughts?
