Another thing I would do if I had “f you” money besides hiring a personal trainer and chef would be to start my own business.
But not just any business. I would build a store that would be the biggest nerd paradise you ever laid your eyes on.
it would be 1/5th:
-Coffee shop
-Comic book store
-Arcade with both coin-op games and console-PC games
-Video game store that sells mostly used and classic games
-Board game store with plenty of table space for games/tournaments
It would be in one building, one floor, sharply divided into four quadrants (the arcade and video game store would be combined).
Each quadrant would have its own theme and their own manager and staff.
I would hire the 4 managers and tell them to run the store- that I would be hands off in terms of running things and all the business decisions. Just as long as they’re honest and the store is breaking even, I don’t care.
I just want a bitchin’ hang out place for all of my nerdy friends to do things we love doing. And to share that experience with everyone else.

You could buy an office space and do all that, minus running it as a business and it being filled with smelly nerds. Just hire someone to buy all the latest nerd shit to enjoy and resell the stuff you've finished with. Then just invite your friends or run it as a private "Nerd club".

I would invest in NeoGaf to help it grow but let Evilore continue the good work. Offer whatever the forum needs to keep running and expanding. I would then quit my job, maybe invest some of it and just buy a nice cozy house for me and my girlfriend.

probably a decent house first, somewhere with a view that I can setup the way I want. nothing too big, but need a big gaming room thou, with a few arcade games and a full setup with a huge OLED TV, PC and consoles.
also an Ariel Atom V8. always wanted one of those to drive around. I would drive a regular beat up care for day to day stuff, but can drive the Atom out on the weekend and just tear around places, going to different restaurants and what not.
going travel too. Spain, Italy, Frence, Northern and Eastern Europe too. a long trip that's gonna take maybe a year or so to slowly experience all these places. and also to stay in Japan whenever I want. been there 3 times now and I still love going there.
after all that's done, gona buy a spot in some busy city to open up a small cafe/restaurant. it'll only seat a very small amount of people and it'll just be a normal place in all regards. but I won't charge the customer IF they are willing to talk and share a great story that I feel is interesting enough.

My dream has always been to build a ranch. I'd build it with amenities that would being my family (specifically grandkids when they arrive years and years from now) to my place so we can be together more often.
